Bolton 2 West Brom 2

Ok we have yet another of these must win game thingys on Sunday, West Brom are clearly a lesser talent than Spurs, and all Bolton players need to be fired up for this one, I really do not see us beating Stoke at their place so a draw on Sunday will probably see us relegated, if Coyle cannot get a performance from them this weekend, then I fear he is in the wrong job.

What we need is speed to get round the back of their defence, and guile in midfield to stop their midfield playing, with that in mind, Miyaichi and Petrov on the wings, Mavies, Coker, Vela central, and NGog up top, that for me will be enough to beat the Baggies.

Any news on the injured players ? Praying they get a big fook off needle into Reo Coker and he somehow gets himself onto the pitch, come on you fellow whites lets crank the fooking NOISE up big time w

  • did you know that spurs hadn't beat us at home in the league for 16 years, also they were their first away goals for over 7 hours and their first away league win in 2012   them stats mean fuck all w

Those stats last night meant I feared the worst, whenever a team/player is; having a bad run of form away, not scored since fucking ages ago etc. You can always rely on BWFC to do the charitable thing. Spuds had something to play for, and playing open like that, who was surprised that after their second the floodgates opened?

Different aproach from last night, think coyle would have been happy with a point last night , the way we started the game any way. wba we have to win, we need to get at them from the first whistle, to many games at home have started with such a slow tempo that the away team are allowed to get into the game. its important steinson plays, we have missed his commitment the last 2 games. to close to call against hodgsons tactical nouse, heres hoping

Vela/myachi no thanks. Just need greta back and same team as started last night and we won't be far away.

Same midfield, Mounts ?

Not many options, I know, but NRC & Mavies with 2 strikers is doing us no favours in home matches.

Thats what I would go with

Draw Sunday, Qpr win, Blackburn lose

Its over

No its not

QPR WILL lose at City which means a win at Stoke would keep us up

For me Mavies just isn't doing it, Vela has looked quite comfortable when he's come on in the last 3 games. I'd go with NRC and Vela in the middle.

Our "strength" if we have one is the defence and it's away from home where that tells.

I disagree that the midfield and strikers mentioned in the first post is good enough to beat West Brom at home. They have a better midfield and strikers than we do.

Are you seriously saying our strength is our defence?? Have you seen the goals against column?

And I don't get the related points about their "better" midfield and attack....their attack line up against our defence anyhow....which you state is our strength

Don't get it

You forgot, we don't do more than one combative midfielder in our non tackling midfield, hence our erratic form

Because Vela has looked good coming on is it fair to throw him straight in from the start in such a crucial game?

S or B - win for me , it all then rests on the last day. (which when the fixtures came out, I said to have all sorted by Stoke !!)

Think Hodgson has won with every team he has brought to Reebok. Additionally, Baggies fans would take some joy in sending us down since it was us who progressed to Play-off final and our subsequent 10 year tenure in Premier League

1-1 on Sunday

then we beat Stoke - Keep the faith!

bolton win 3-2

wheater scores the winner....

Vela looks a bit reckless and I think he might get sent off if they start him because he would be trying too hard. Where is Pratley when you need him?

Hope Steinsson is back

3-1

Bolton 3-1 WBA. Confident of a Bolton victory.

Quite a few referring to Coyle as clueless. I think that chain of thought began in July when he took our Barclays Premier League team to some outpost in South Wales, for a known Newport clogger to get his Andy Warhol moment by nobbling our best player. That, and the fact the 30,000 of us still find it hard to forgive the Wembley choke effect. Any positive result I would take right now just to give us a fighting chance on the last day (remember the Pie Men at Stoke last day last season?) That's the heart. The head? 1-2, and all but down.

We can only get behind whatever team Owen Cranky puts out. I hope I am wrong but why do I just know I am going to walk off on Sunday, feeling its finally over.

If Vela is named in the starting 11 instead of an experienced pro I'm fearing the worst on Sunday. A message to OC pack the team with 11 seasoned experienced pros, forget playing tip tap football and reap the rewards otherwise pick up your coat and FUCK OFF.

The only reason people are suggesting Vela starts is because almost all the central midfield players we have are injured.IF Reo- Coker is another casulty then we only have Mark Davies who can only play in a 5 according to some. That's how bad it is.Coyle has been critised for not picking a 5 man midfield .If Vela isn't good enough then who the fuck should play in the 5 man midfield when Pratley,Sean Davis,Holden,Muamba,Gardner and Reo Coker are all on the payroll but unavailable?

Terrible having to wait until Sunday for this game; going to be a awful weekend up to kick off; need to leave about 10am Sunday morning so Saturday nights going to be a boring one.

My only hope is that we still have a chance to get a point over QPR after Sundays games (we are never going to have a better goal difference)
