May 4, 201214 yr Terrible having to wait until Sunday for this game; going to be a awful weekend up to kick off; need to leave about 10am Sunday morning so Saturday nights going to be a boring one. My only hope is that we still have a chance to get a point over QPR after Sundays games (we are never going to have a better goal difference) 5-0 this week wouldnt do us any harm!! then city to put 3 or 4 past qpr. Easy!!
May 4, 201214 yr Robbie Blake ? If that's your best suggestion it sums up the shit we are in.But let's pretend we have as good players as West Brom and are going down because of bad tactics eh?
May 4, 201214 yr Anyone really scared of how they'll feel if we're relegated tomorrow, until the Euro's I think I'm gonna be so upset and down in the dumps.
May 4, 201214 yr Anyone really scared of how they'll feel if we're relegated tomorrow, until the Euro's I think I'm gonna be so upset and down in the dumps. We can't get relegated tomorrow, or Sunday.
May 4, 201214 yr We can't get relegated tomorrow, or Sunday. We lose and QPR win and we're gone, unless we smash Stoke and Man City do same to QPR. Think we'll both draw and we stay up with a better result that QPR on last day. Edited May 4, 201214 yr by Didledee
May 4, 201214 yr We can't get relegated tomorrow, or Sunday. IF QPR beat Stoke - we lose to WBA - we are down Sunday barring a monumental swing in goal difference on the last day. But Stoke will get a point at QPR - we will stuff the baggies COYFWM - We are Staying Up
May 4, 201214 yr If that happens and we need a massive goal turn around, no point in being orthodox, go with N'Gog, Klasnic, Sordell and K.Davies starting and gung-ho overload it. Edited May 4, 201214 yr by Didledee

May 4, 201214 yr But what if our debt get's in the way of promotions or even existence? It won't, but if it does, then it does. Why worry about something that may or may not happen and soemthing that you have no control over. If we get relegated, then we get relegated, it'll be shit but it's happened before on many, many occassions. If the debt is too much and we go bust, then we go bust. We'll just do what the likes of Portsmouth, Southampton and Leeds have done. We'll still survive. Fuck me, is BWFC your entire life?
May 4, 201214 yr It's the thing I like most and It'll be crap if we go down, no quality signings, better players eventually leaving, no away game internet streams, seeing other Prem teams will bring back memories of Okocha, Djorkaeff, Anelka etc Europe, Top 6-8 finishes, it'll hurt big time, I'm dreading it tbh.

I'm sure there will be a lot of people like you, you're young and haven't seen us in other divisions. There is believe it or not life outside the Premier League. Seeing other PL teams willbring back memories of Okocha, Djorkaeff and Anelka ? - fair point, but that's all they are, we've not had that calibre of player for a while now. Don't think just because we are in the PL we can attract quality players - look at the uninspiring dross we've signed in recent years (Chungy & Holden apart) If we go down, everybody will be pissed off (and some might even be "hurt") - but then in two months time you'll be waiting excitidly for the new season and seeing what that has to offer, and you'll get over it, I promise you if we do get relegated, you won't always feel so bad!
May 4, 201214 yr If the worst case senario happens and we do get relegated for fucks sake dont let the Sky cameras catch anyone weeping - especially grown men
May 4, 201214 yr I hope so, I was young when we got relegated twice from the Prem, memories have faded, a decade plus of Prem football to be all gone will be hard to take, nothing about going down brings any excitement and playing Championship football won't really make me excited for the new season. My hope is that we keep our better players, get rid of the dead wood and do a Newcastle, a new team, a team with no long ball tag, just a completely different side to what we have now, summat new and fresh, Coyle doesn't deserve to be in the job going off this season, but if he can have a season of complete change with a strong side then it'll be interesting. If we go down, it'll be strange because with Holden and Lee and most of the players we have who start now, we'll know we have a team good enough for mid table Premiership, we should walk the Championship.
May 4, 201214 yr Also dreading the thought of going down. It will defonitly 'hurt' me. Suppose you have to keep telling yourselves that there are much much MUCH worse things that can affect your life, though.

I think you'll be surprised as to how competitive that league is, anyone can beat anyone! Plus there is a big possibility we will only keep holden and Lee till January if they have proved their fitness.
May 4, 201214 yr Bolton v Ipswich 4-1 Bolton v Boro 2-1 Boro v Bolton 0-1 Bolton v Sunderland 2-0 All those games were absolutely massive, we won them all, we've been in these situations before and the feeling is just unbearable, it's gonna be so tense, for health reasons a win and a QPR loss is required. Plus there is a big possibility we will only keep holden and Lee till January if they have proved their fitness. And say the 10-30 million we get for them, what players would we get to replace them, would it just go towards debt reducement, what % of transfer revenue goes to new signings. I'm sure it'll be a tough League but for me we'll have a team much better than Reading, Southampton, Norwich, Wigan etc, If we draw a prem side in the Cups, I'd still view it like we were a Prem side. I don't see our 1st team changing, just contacts given or not and some oldies gone and our best returning, unfortunately 12 months is a long time to see them in the Prem again though. I don't see this scenario, think we'll be safe by a point or three. Edited May 4, 201214 yr by Didledee
