If he does stay it must be a lot smaller wage

You think we'd get that much for him? That's all we got for Al Habsi who's twice the 'keeper.

 

I'd keep Jussi, but as said above, he'd have to take a HUGE paycut.

If we do go down, I'd let him go and carry on bloodening the young ones through the academy. For me Jussi has had his day.

I certainly hope we do sell him, as I don't rate him at all if I'm honest. But, I don't see why anybody would want Bogdan, and certainly not for ?4M

Hmm, surely the mark of a good keeper is how many times they let a soft goal in which Wotsit has done a couple of times recently.

No good coming out with amazing saves then letting one roll over yer toe.

Jussi is more than good enough to be our number 1 if Bogdan is the yardstick i say.

He reached that milestone against Birmingham in the cup last year.

I ceretainly think that Jussi is a better keeper than Bogdan, but as pointed out above....one of them is in decline and the other should be getting better.

I still rate Jussi and would probably still have him as our number 1. In reflection though Bogdan is miles ahead of what Jussi was at this stage of his career so can only get better hopefully.

I dont think we've fooked around with them, jussi got injured, bogdan came in played well and kept his place! Simples.

 

For the record, lets just say Wotsit doesn't fill me with confidence.

tbh i'm in the unsure camp with Bogdan..

Other than Anewman, whose answer will be strikingly obvious, does anyone else feel that retaining Al habsi and installing him as No. 1 would have meant the difference between relegation and survival.

 

And now knowing that we had to sell AAH to fund the Ngog deal, should we have just kept Al Habsi?

Jussi looked to be in decline last season. It carried on this season. Bogdan looks like he'll be a good un but in Alhabsi we had a ready made replacement.

 

I do think by starting Reo Coker Muamba as the middle two all season we would have been fine now though

Al Habsi let's some mares past him but pulls off some blinders too. Swap him for NGog, not a chance, should of kept him.

Jussi should still be number 1 IMO. Bogdan will turn out to be a top player but we have needed experience at the back this season. I would stick Jussi in on Sunday!!
