No Trotter To Shout For In Euros

Even Cahill fucked it up (as an ex)

Any prospectives you know of?

Darren O'Dea of R.O.I?.

Is Joey obrien in the Eire squad? Think it shows our current squad are way below the quality of recent years, and we seem to be in the market for an even lower quality of player.

Couple of our ex's in the Sweden squad.

Another Example of Coyles shit signings, at one point the squad would we littered with internationals in the tournament

True but he's working with a different budget than his predecessors.

Who are the ex players?

Elmander?

Wilhelmson, easily forgotten..

Aye, instead one of our better players (eagles) was in my local last night

I'm glad. With our injury record in the past 12 months, if we'd had somebody involved they'd have been sure to have come back with a knee ligament prob or broken leg.

Let the other Championship sides suffer from having one or two of their best players a bit knackered.

Our team is largely British. We've had about an hour and a half's worth of England Internationals in over half a century and the other home nations rarely qualify.

All that aside, who were all these superstars we had littering the major tournaments anyway? Even when Stelios 'won', he hardly had a kick.

From what I recall Stelios played quite a big part for Greece. He definitely played in the final.

Remember being chuffed when Jaidi bagged one for Tunisia in 2006.

He played in the final. Prior to that, he managed 117 minutes in the first two group games before missing games against Russia and France, and came on for the last 18 minutes (plus extra time) of the semi against the Czechs.
