July 28, 201214 yr I loved the Artic Monkeys too and Dizzy Rascal was superb. It was just how I wanted it to be. Eclectic, a little eccentric and dare I say, cool. We should be proud of our nation. And yes, Pabbers, proud of the way we deal with negative aspects of our society instead of brushing them under a carpet. its fu ckin sport not a political party broadcast
July 28, 201214 yr Surprised they didn't get Mandela on stage at the end I think they draw the line at terrorists
July 28, 201214 yr its fu ckin sport not a political party broadcast it only appears to be you making it that. It was a showcase of our great nation. You don't seem to be getting upset about the NHS section of the show. That's just as political. Every person in that ceremony has made a positive contribution to society. It's ashame when so much negatively can be sought from it.

Quite ironic how they bigged that up yet they are making cut backs galore
July 28, 201214 yr A superb win for the Russian girls in the beach volleyball. Unfortunately they were finished just before I was, but there'll be other times. The opening ceremony was fucking epic. The British have probably come across as a bit eccentric. Though Danny Boyle could have just showed threads off here to prove that to the world. The bit with Mrs Queen and James Bond was amazing.
July 28, 201214 yr Quite ironic how they bigged that up yet they are making cut backs galore well at least we've got you finding another negative from the ceremony.Glad to have been of service.
July 28, 201214 yr I'm wondering what the fuck that Chakrabarty woman was doing next to Ban Ki Moon, course you won't get that spoon fed to you on hoolie.com, kkk.com or whatever.

I must admit to making a comment about her. I can't say I was overly impressed though to be fair, Liberty do some worthy shit across the world and with her being the figurehead. Plus, we've shown women in this country have a voice even if we don't always agree with what comes out of it.
July 28, 201214 yr Mind blowing opening ceremony, British at it`s very best. Never been ito the Arctic Monkey`s but they were terrific. A massive well done to Danny Boyle`s barmy but entertaining spectacle.
July 28, 201214 yr Never been ito the Arctic Monkey`s but they were terrific. Same here. They were brilliant! I loved Dizzy too! He looked like he was loving every minute of it.
July 28, 201214 yr I didnt watch that part, fell asleep. Is that the murdered lads mum ?? If so, then its great she was doing it. Point of the whole thing was to try and show GB to the world, and what we try and do. Now we have enough shit going on, so last night was a time to be proud as fook that we live is this country. Forget the odd bad thing, and look positively at the whole show. If someone is Africa, USA watched that, they may look up The lawrence case, and learn that we are in the whole, a decent country, that tries to kick out racism, and will try to, in all cases, stick to what we all sign up for, The Justice System. +1 Pabbers
July 28, 201214 yr Same here. They were brilliant! I loved Dizzy too! He looked like he was loving every minute of it. Not my kinda music whatsoever but I do like dizzy rascal for some reason
July 28, 201214 yr Not my kinda music whatsoever but I do like dizzy rascal for some reason His smile last night, he is so likeable and doesn't take himself too seriously like some musicians. He looked so bloody proud!

July 28, 201214 yr Don't follow swimming Enlighten me So far, all the GB swimmers have been swimming below times you would expect. Hopefully it changes pretty quickly or we could be looking at a lot less medals in the swimming than we expected!
July 28, 201214 yr Interesting fact, one of our lot, dan someone, was taught to swim by the same woman who is teaching me son now.
