December 10, 201213 yr Today is a dark day. Heavy duty day on the lash... Great to go back to the old local,same old faces sat in the same old places! One pisspot thought I'd been drinking in there every day anyway! haha All hell broke loose when DMB scored the winner,a city 'fan' came bursting in the front door shouting 'fuck off you Munich cunts!!' he got a bar stool and pint pot lobbed at his head just for safe measure. Funny watching all the arguments kicking off round the pub,mates falling out with each other etc.Love it. Headed back to the Golden Eagle for second half of Bolton '08 match,rest is pretty much a blur,I know the jukebox got hammered late on though,our kid got a bit tearful towards the end of the night,but we looked after him... 15 pints always does the trick...trouble is,he will be in a darker place today! Cant remember coming back to this gaff,but Ive just been told I have an unpaid bar tab for £5.10...so one would suggest I had two pints when I got back.I have no memory of this whatsoever. Im going to the beach today.That will blow the cobwebs off.
