The depths those in charge of SYP went to was unbelievable. The tossers doing the investigation from EMP were just as bad!   The ins and outs of that day is known and even if you are of the opinion

Indeed the disaster happened due to many factors; Shit planning by the cops, fa, Liverpool FC and Hillsborough stadium. Poor crowd control by the police and untrained stewards. The idea that caging

Were has the 'justice' thread gone ???

Some self-aggrandizing/promoting bellend from 'Vital Football Bolton' (nah, me neither) was spouting off to Phil Gartside amongst others on Twitter. He was expressing 'disgust' at comments on here and on Burnden Aces regarding this topic.

I don't know if this is related to the disappearance of 'Justice' - which I thought was the more reasoned and thoughtful thread of the two, give or take a few daft comments. It's H.W. and the other mods' prerogative I guess, a pity as the 'Justice' thread had some decent content in it.

It's a pity that having an option on the events which doesn't fit the opinions of the campaign is deemed to be insulting etc etc

I know full well what the police and authorities were like in that era.

I know full well what football fans were like in that era.

Neither were whiter than white.

If any good has come from this, then its the fact fans can now go to football grounds in a safe manner and not be treated like cattle and criminals.

You are right, but that thread did have some bad comments, and you could see where it was going.

Diddles says some very bad stuff at times, about tragedy and death, and is right tacken to task over. IMO, no different now.

I read loads of forums yesterday, all about JFT96, and only on this site, did they say what was said in that thread.

Isn't that because there is a level of intelligence on this site and people that don't believe everything they read? You only needed to watch some of the footage that was on the news last night, where you could clearly see fans climbing over 10 foot walls to get in to the ground - it's natural to assume that these people didn't have tickets. Hence why a lot of people on here don't appear to believe the official version of events that there were NO ticketless fans in the Leppings Lane end that particular day.

No, BP, we are sheep who formed opinions from reading The Sun. Baaaaaa.

Seems to be what a lot of the apologists are saying to anybody who still refutes the "what you want to hear" report that was released yesterday.

It must also be the Sun's fault that they behaved as they did in Athens.

Not sure if I was clear with what I said Carlos, I was saying the people on this forum don't form opinions from one source which is probably why things were being said on this site that aren't being said on other sites.

When WW was down yesterday I went onto The Wanderer

Some bin dipper called Blurred was getting on his high horse yesterday and effing and jeffing at Bolton fans - what a moron

Also, with proof of this cover up, it goes some way to showing why some Scousers have the victim mentality, completely justified.

I think Carlos was being facetious. Shame on him.

As has been said elsewhere on here, I'm not sure what is so vile and shameful to say football fans are not whiter than white.

Would we have behaved any differently? Not sure, possibly not. But I'd hope hand on heart we'd except collectively we had a part in it and were not completely blameless.

As for Vital, I have no idea what their motive is.

I was agreeing with you BP. I based my opinion on watching football in that era, experiencing Liverpool fans and first hand accounts of what people saw.

Vital hijacked Twitter to promote themselves, it's what spammers do. Not so clever.

...As for Vital, I have no idea what their motive is.

A cynic may suggest having their name linked with future Google searches with terms including; Bolton, Wanderers, Forums, Gartside, Wanderersways, Burnden Aces etc. etc. may have something to do with it. Why not throw Hillsborough in there for good measure?

I went onto Vital Bolton last night to see if there was any comment or explaination on there, it's another forum that seems to consist of one bloke (I presume it's a bloke) talking to himself...

Not disputing what you're saying there but it's not only us in here.

Over the last few days it's been a hot topic in the brew cabins, lots of lads from all areas who arnt daft, working class blokes who've done the football over the years.

Taking aside the obviously inflammatory comments, mostly from mancs but surprisingly a few from some evertonians, general consensus is that there is and always was some blame all round but now an even greater contempt at the cover up from south yorkshire police (who were a right set of cunts in those days).

Remember that cage they put up at Doncaster in the late 80s?

I had a look at a Forest forum last night to see what they was saying, they was quite scathing beforehand and seem to have back tracked now, they could have comments that differ today but I have not looked.

I personally couldn't give two fucks if my opinion isn't PC or well received by the masses.

The Liverpool fans were not totally blame free that day: let's fucking have it straight, shall we?

As for you, Pablo: it goes some way to showing why some Scousers have the victim mentality, completely justified.

Bullshit: put the rod away.

Boys gonna be honest I'm a everton fan season ticket hoder and I logged on to your forum yesterday,as I'm from Bolton (daisy hill) my dad is a season ticket supporter at bilton as are my 2 cousins so I have a soft spot for the whites. Some of the comments I was reading on here yesterday where to be honest disgusting. I'm not scouse however understand why they felt as they did over Hillsbrough. What happened to them was disgusting and if Bolton had been portrayed in the same way as merseyside was wrongly may i had, i would like to think you lads would fight for what was right.

Anyway away from that looking forward to being part of your forum as I have lots of Bolton mates who are sound folk as Bolton fans.

Brilliant.

He is nothing to do with me, but welcome, brother !

Thats for a different thread mate, however I think Munich 58 was a sad tragedy. I realise I may come in for some stick and on the whole it's the minority just thought yesterday common sense was not being seen.
