DazBob Posted September 18, 2012 Posted September 18, 2012 Crazy shit. Hand grenades and everything. Thankfully he's white and British so will be dealt with severely. Quote
no balls Posted September 18, 2012 Posted September 18, 2012 How many of these fuckers round Hyde, Hattersely & Droylsden have got guns? Sounds like Gunchester is back once again with the renegade master. Quote
Zulu Posted September 18, 2012 Posted September 18, 2012 May they both rest in peace. My heart goes out to their families, colleagues and friends. Quote
Big_Sharps Posted September 18, 2012 Posted September 18, 2012 Is it time for our coppers to start holding guns as Mr Rathband's son suggested? Quote
Spider Posted September 18, 2012 Posted September 18, 2012 Awful Why the fuck were 2 unarmed coppers sent to deal with that cunt though? Unless they didn;t know it was him, obviously. Either way, I hope they pull the fucker's other eye out with a hot spoon and subject him to a lifetime of daily torture. Quote
DazBob Posted September 18, 2012 Posted September 18, 2012 How many of these fuckers round Hyde, Hattersely & Droylsden have got guns? Sounds like Gunchester is back once again with the renegade master. Only been to Hattersley once, about 15 years ago. Fucking strange, horrible place up out in the middle of nowhere. Harold Shipman should've started with the younger generation instead. Quote
Youri McAnespie Posted September 18, 2012 Posted September 18, 2012 Is it time for our coppers to start holding guns as Mr Rathband's son suggested? Works in America... Only 33 Law Enforcement Personnel killed in the line of duty with firearms... So far this year, 2012, that is: http://www.odmp.org/search?cause=Gunfire&from=2012&to=2012 Quote
no balls Posted September 18, 2012 Posted September 18, 2012 Is it time for our coppers to start holding guns as Mr Rathband's son suggested? Nothing like a kneejerk reaction. Quote
burndenpaddock Posted September 18, 2012 Posted September 18, 2012 Awful Why the fuck were 2 unarmed coppers sent to deal with that cunt though? Unless they didn;t know it was him, obviously. Either way, I hope they pull the fucker's other eye out with a hot spoon and subject him to a lifetime of daily torture. They were responding to a routine call that wasn't related to him, don't think GMP would have sent 2 unarmed officers to apprehend him, given the warnings they've been giving the public about this chap. Wrong place at the wrong time. RIP ladies. Quote
Big_Sharps Posted September 18, 2012 Posted September 18, 2012 Nothing like a kneejerk reaction. Not sure if you are referring to me or the ex coppers son but I was only asking the question, not saying that I thought we should. Quote
no balls Posted September 18, 2012 Posted September 18, 2012 Not sure if you are referring to me or the ex coppers son but I was only asking the question, not saying that I thought we should. Apologies. I thouhht you were being rhetorical. As for the copper's son, as much as I feel for him, I'm not sure that victim's families are always the right people to change laws. Quote
Tyler Durden Posted September 18, 2012 Posted September 18, 2012 RIP two people who went to work today and will never go home Hearts with their families Personally, don't know how I'd feel if I was forced to carry a firearm. At the minute I'd very much like to, but then there's the huge risk of escalation and ordinary shit bags I deal with start to carry them too. Then there's no going back from it. Heartbreaking, not the time for such decisions though. RIP Quote
Traf Posted September 18, 2012 Posted September 18, 2012 Nobody, no matter what their line of work, regardless of anyone's own feelings about the police, should go to work and not come home again. Wrong place, wrong time, two more victims of the cancer eating away at society. Quote

droywhite Posted September 18, 2012 Posted September 18, 2012 The Scumbags mother is at the house next door to us as his Uncle lives there. We have had armed police searching his house at all times of day or night for last few weeks. R.I.P to the 2 policewomen Quote
hughmungus Posted September 18, 2012 Posted September 18, 2012 He set them both up and in cold blood, utter tragedy and something I am finding hard to think about. Love em or hate em I wouldn't wish this on a single one. We need them more than ever. R.I.P. girls may God grant you the ability to watch this fucker descend into hell when his time comes. Quote
SHAT Posted September 18, 2012 Posted September 18, 2012 He'll probably be deemed as "very brave"for what he's done and get a few hours Community service.Horrible scrote. Quote
anewman Posted September 18, 2012 Posted September 18, 2012 I believe that coppers should carry guns Quote
Miller Posted September 18, 2012 Posted September 18, 2012 Fucking shite hearing news like. I have said for a while i think the police should carry guns. How can they expect to protect themselves and us for that matter with pepper spray and a stick as guns are unfortunately ever increasing in our society. So cruel that these 2 police officers where taken in this way. RIP. As for justice for the fella? Stick him in a room full of the relatives and police officers with no charges to be held against anybody, i know we can't do this in a civilised society however would be nice for cases like this. Quote
Marc505 Posted September 18, 2012 Posted September 18, 2012 My missus used to know one of them whilst on police training, the younger one, said she was a really nice girl and horrible to think her car will still just be sat there in the car park where she left it this morning. I live quite close to where Anuj Bidve was shot (and a pub where someone else was shot dead as well). You hear about a lot of gun related stuff in Manchester now, but I suppose its been like that for years. To be honest Im not as in favour of police being armed, I think it would create something approaching an arms race between them and the criminals, whereby even the most low level crimes are comitted at gun point (that sounded a bit Brass Eye I know). athywhite1958 Posted September 18, 2012 Posted September 18, 2012 The cowardly shithouse handed himself in rather than face a shoot out, hope he rots in jail, RIP to the 2 police officers Quote
leigh white Posted September 18, 2012 Posted September 18, 2012 At least the scumbag will never walk our street's ever again in his lifetime. R.I.P. girls. Quote
