Bolton 0 Crystal Palace 1

Even though yesterday was a decent performance and the tide seems to be turning,I think next week's game is trickier than people think. Palace have got some decent young fast players in their side and will have to be paid special attention.

For that reason, injuries permitting and not falling out with Coyle during the week,I'm going for the same side as yesterday with the exception of Marcus Alonso who has to be replaced by Stephen Warnock.

I predict 16,709 spectators to witness a very entertaining 3-3 draw, and Marvin Sordell to watch it in the Vulcan.

Neil Whatmore,Dusan Nikolic and Taddy Nowak for us,with Geoff Thomas managing a hat-trick on his deathbed.

I don't think our players are as bad as some are saying, I just think they want him sacking too.

I presume it's dependent on your attitude towards the steward or the stewards attitude.

We've been at aways and had a toot over whilst holding and the steward who has just said, can you go back under with them.

Having said that, I've usually been stood with big daft bastards who they probably don't want to argue with .

Lad in front of me at millwall supping away in the stand. The steward asked him to stop otherwise he is out, he necked it and chucked the bottle at the steward. The steward did nothing.

Thanks, that's what I was getting at. Wondering if it's discretionary or not.

I think it's safe to say at Hillsborough it's absolutely zero tolerance.

No worries for me though as I'm a good boy and never break any rules :)

important to keep the reebok a 'fortress'.

2-1 Mavies and kavies

Zaha is the one that worries me too. Looks a good player. Don't know that much about the rest of the palace team. it's a game we need to win though. As lomg as we are organised and defend properly we'll get the three points.

Aye, me too.

We should have signed him last year, so he could have kept Marvin company.

Do we have stats on this? Or does it just feel like it always happens?

seems we have conceded six times this season in the first 15 minutes of the second half getting underway.

A trend we managed to buck on Saturday.

We managed to hold out for 16 minutes :)

The (admittedly) few occasions I've seen Zaha he looks like someone who's full of tricks but has very little end product and a lack of a 'footballing' brain. I'd rather have Eagles in our side than him.

OC seems to think that because he sent them out early thats why they didn't concede so early

against palace he best keep them out all together.

Since losing at Wembley we've conceded a goal inside the first 15 minutes of the second half in 46% of our league games.

On average, within 7 minutes and 26 seconds of half time.

In 30% of games since Stoke we've conceded inside 10 minutes of the second half (average 4m 14s).

Last season Reading drew at home to Millwall, won at Leicester and lost at home to Pompey.

They followed that ignominious opening with three defeats, away at Hull and at home to Barnsley and Watford.

EDIT: And they lost 2-1 away to League One opposition in the second round of the League Cup.

if we don't run away with the league, I say lets twat him

IAMIN

me too.

1-1. Mills and mills o.g

re the boozing in a ground, you girls don't know how lucky you are.

in the 80's at the annual england v scotland 'matches' the jocks imposed a total ban on ale in the ground. nothing new in those days really but jazza's boys got round the problem easily enough. they injected oranges with vodka. i've never seen so many jocks in a ground sucking on oranges for 90 minutes

1-1. Mills and mills o.g

I go for same scoreline with a late equaliser for them.

Away at Burnley in 1983/4, pre Heysel so you could still drink on the terraces. All our lot over the age of 12 had bought a couple of pints each to sup during the first half so after Neil Whatmore scored a couple of minutes in the air was full of Skol.

i was one of them, happy days

goals in this, 4-2 m.davies,eagles,k.davies,afobe.

palace to score in the 51st minute and a late consolation.

Again both teams to score looks like buying money. 3-2 for me.

Palace come to the Reebok in a rich vein of form; usually we allow teams on a poor run to kick start their season!

So......3-0 to Bolton.

BWFC Kick the trend.

3-1 win K Davies, Mills and Afobe
