  • All piss taking apart, I used to know the bloke years ago and he's a genuinely nicebloke. One should never wish ill of nice people, so best of luck to him with whatever he does in the future. .

  • I was relieved to hear the news but also a little bit sad, I expect many felt the same.   He was very dignified on SSN today, a class act. Compare & contrast that with his predecessor!

Thanks for everything Owen, I'm gutted it didn't work out.

Nailed on he'll bring a team back to the Reebok and tear us a new one

its all ifs and ands but it could have gone differently this season, i can think of many individual errors by players that have cost us points, not to mention the injury nightmare he has suffered which have all ultimately cost him his job.

shame some people can`t just let it be and wish him all the best. he tried his guts out for us.

maybe he wasn`t up to the job, maybe he was unlucky, whatever your opinion, he was a decent bloke

I also wish him well and hope he finished just behind us in any league that we play in together, some of the personal insults that have been thrown his way is pathetic and whether if he was upto the job or not which in the end he wasnt, he was only doing what he considered his best.

Really gutted that it has come to this.

Exacertally.

always liked coyle and i wish him all the best, really wanted it to work but sadly it didnt.

The way he represented himself and the club in general, especially throughout the Muamba situation was exceptional IMO. It's just a shame that he proved himself to be an appalling football manager.

I wish him all the best.

I'll say again like on the others thread genuinely upset he couldn't sort it and it came to this but best of luck to him

Wish him well. still a bit gutted its come down to this, aiways felt like he was one of us. showed great dignity when ever he spoke. best for both partys, good luck owen, once a wanderer always a wanderer.

I also wish him luck.

Thought his interview come across really well on SSN, although he's had plenty time to prepare it. :blum:

Good Luck OWEN COYLE at whatever is next for. It,s a shame it did,nt work for you,but it rarely works appointing ex Players. You are too close to the club as a fan...Thanks for the memories

:good:

don't worry owen, you'll be in back in 5 years, like sammy lee is..........but i don't think he'll fit in your shorts

All the best to him. Gutted he couldn't make it work.

All the best Owen, it's a shame you couldn't get us where we need to be.

Watched his interview on sky and it was hard to watch as the guy is genuine and loves the club. He gave it is best but couldn't cut it its just a Shame it got this far with fans chanting for him to go,good luck coyle

I wish it gad worked for him more than any other manager I can remember us appointing.

... but it didn't and his leaving is best for all concerned.

Lovely fella and i wish him all the luck in the world in his next venture.

He's been nothing short of decent and gracious in his time here ... unfortunately that just wasn't enough.

I know I'll sound soft but I hope he reads this or hears of it. We are not all #vile.

Maybe that nice man at Vital could tweet Garty about it. :)

Good luck Owen.

Best of luck Owen, always be good to see you at the Reebok

So glad he's gone.

His record since wembley - farcical.

Nice bloke or not - I couldn't care less.

He was paid good money to do a job and made an absolute mess of it over a prolonged period from which it could take the club some time to recover.

I know a lot of nice blokes and most of them are on the minimum wage.

Yes but we need to remember He,s a nice bloke who had a PL job when Garty went and poached him,I know if someone came to me offering to double my Wages I,d be like a rat up a drainpipe..No hesitation and the same goes for every single poster on here,,,So the blame lies equally in more than one place for our Position....
