Guest Frandsen08 Posted October 12, 2012 Posted October 12, 2012 well the West Ham board aren`t overjoyed with him and they have refused to extend his contract. There was a rumour a few weeks ago that they will dispense with his services at the end of the season as he doesn`t play `nice football` like what all them luvies at the Park like to watch. They don`t pay money to watch northern cloggers sticking it up `em every week apparently They are up there with liverpool on the cunt club scale. Quote
Eavesy Posted October 12, 2012 Posted October 12, 2012 Although allardyce was a brilliant manager, I dare say without Davies we'd have had no chance as the whole game plan revolved around him. I don't think with the players we have now allardyce would be able to achieve anywhere near what he did previously. We need someone who can set up a 'passing' team as a unit. Which isn't allardyces forte. Quote
Plums Posted October 12, 2012 Posted October 12, 2012 (edited) The organisation he'd bring back would be just what's required. He'd use Kev of course he would but he'd use him in the right manner when required. Edited October 12, 2012 by Plums Quote

Which isn't allardyces forte. I`m not sure, before he signed Carroll he didn`t really have a Davies style player in his team did he? We all know Vaz Te struggles to stand up when theres a stiff breeze and Coles not really a target man is he? I would say we are currently in the position we were in when allardyce first arrived. ie. bollocks to performances, we just need to get out of this league which ironically was what everyone became so unhappy about which led to the slide we have suffered which culminates in this scenario. touch of irony in it all?! He'd use Kev of course he would but he'd use him in the right manner when required. I'm not so sure he's an organised type. It's alright when you have the likes of speed and campo dictating things on the pitch, and getting the ball in the right place from set pieces. Plus I truly believe to go forward we must go without Davies now. He's done great this season but you'd have to wonder how good we could have done with sordell and Ngog playing off each other. And I'm not so sure there's any way of using Kev without using him constantly and bombarding the opposition before they finally give in. Quote
Moderators Casino Posted October 12, 2012 Moderators Posted October 12, 2012 this group of players is much better than the one he inherited last time anyway, he's not coming back nor should he Quote
Sweep Posted October 12, 2012 Posted October 12, 2012 anyway, he's not coming back I agree, I don't see it happening at all Quote

miamiwhite Posted October 12, 2012 Posted October 12, 2012 Cass Pennant just rang me. Said he was in the Blind Beggar when who walks in ? None other than than Big Sam,Arry Redknapp and Phil Gartside who's playing truant from this here meeting in London. After a few sherberts,a rousing rendition of 'knees up mother brown(she must have one big clout),pie n mash all round and a few brown envelopes stuffed into each pockets,Big Sam told Cass to get him a one-way ticket to the Reebok. Our 'Arry is back on the manor and Sam is back up here quicker than you can say ''you lying bastard''.............just as long as he can have Colleen's brother as captain and Joey Deacon at right back....i kid ye not Quote
Rembrandt Posted October 12, 2012 Posted October 12, 2012 Not a chance, we didn't have a pot to piss in when he left, we dont even have the piss now Succinct and to the point. Quote
Site Supporter Tonge moor green jacket Posted October 12, 2012 Site Supporter Posted October 12, 2012 I'd have him back. Campo, Speed etc only came later- he would introduce some spine and belief- maybe even a few clean sheets Can't see it happening though, unless Gartside used it as a leaving present, 'retiring' after appointing Sam Quote
Eavesy Posted October 12, 2012 Posted October 12, 2012 Well if he can tidy a desk fair fucks to him. There's different kinds of organised... Setting up to win set pieces and getting the ball in the box Or Setting up as a complete unit passing the opposition to death. Big Sam can organise a certain way. Quote

wanderer13 Posted October 13, 2012 Posted October 13, 2012 My exact thoughts when I read that bit too. Yeah me too. He grabbed this club and dragged it forwards. He employed anything that gave us a winning edge- nutritionists, analysts, long throws, kidnapping top players like youri, okocha, hierro, standing in front of the keeper at free kicks etc. He left nothing to chance or blind faith like coyle. He was probably the most organising force our club has ever had. Quote
