BL2wanderer Posted January 23, 2013 Posted January 23, 2013 Bit radical and out of the box thinking BUT why don't Bolton supporters buy tickets and fill the home stands? just a thought like ;-) Quote

ex_midlandwhite Posted January 23, 2013 Posted January 23, 2013 Yer lets give up any advantage we might have and make it like an away match. Then play our youth team and make sure we lose. Whether there are 5k or 10k of them their support will be far louder than the 8 to 10k of us. You never know they might also get on their backs if we go a goal up. If I was Eddie id be wanting us to collect the extra £100k Quote

Pablo Posted January 23, 2013 Posted January 23, 2013 our token scouser at work who is a red, refers to everton fans as sock robbers. bit below the belt that. Thats a term for people from Kirkby. They call us that, as we almost move to Kirkby, which is for the sake of kopites arguments, outside the City. Even though one of the biggest and most loyal Supporters Clubs come's from, AND their 'Scouser than Scouse' skipper. Quote

Mounts Kipper Posted January 23, 2013 Posted January 23, 2013 If we draw do you think Everton will sell out? Will they fook, doubt theyd sell much more than 20k neither did Sunderland don't know why we're all getting our knickers in a twist. Quote
YTARMY Posted January 23, 2013 Posted January 23, 2013 Been to the ground today got 3 for ESL even though its supposed to be sold out Needed proof of previous purchase or season ticket . Pay on the day available but no cash turnstiles you have to get them from the ticket office , with proof as we've had plenty of our funny talking neighbours turning up for tickets aparently. Quote
Mike Hunt Posted January 24, 2013 Posted January 24, 2013 Eventually got round to going for tickets yesterday, unsurprisingly my seats gone, so I will be nearer Fireman Sam in the corner. Sounds like loads of Everton been trying to purchase direct and ticket office blaming season ticket holders for buying away fans tickets!!! Quote

Mounts Kipper Posted January 24, 2013 Posted January 24, 2013 There is going to some shenanigans in the west lower if the toffees score, it's akin to going in the manny road north especially if you sitting in the end next to the away fans, plenty of Bolton lads in there and that might come as a shock to Everton fans. Ghana White Posted January 24, 2013 Posted January 24, 2013 Apparently they're now buying cheap Peterborough at home tickets then getting fa cup tickets with the buying record they've just created.. Quote

Guest Blixa Posted January 24, 2013 Posted January 24, 2013 Easy way to stop it - police/club issue a notice that any away fans in home end will be ejected on grounds of public safety. Would think twice about spending your cash. Law aren't stupid, they'll know of potential problems coming up this weekend and will be all over the place. But they could have pre-empted it easily if they'd worked with the club more. On the plus side, good news that Peterborough will be our record league gate for the season. Who'd have thought it? Quote
ZiggyStardust Posted January 24, 2013 Posted January 24, 2013 (edited) Apparently they're now buying cheap Peterborough at home tickets then getting fa cup tickets with the buying record they've just created.. Need a buying history before the 20th of this month. Sales after this date are ignored. Or so the offish web site says (said) Edit: Now states this: Please note tickets are available to those supporters who have registered with the club prior to Monday 7th January and have a previous booking history for home games excluding Peterborough United. Youri McAnespie Posted January 24, 2013 Posted January 24, 2013 (edited) I just did a Google image search using the term "scruffy scousers"... This is a genuine screen-grab of the results - and not pages and pages down the results either! Edit: Bottom right - for the short sighted. Edited January 24, 2013 by Youri McAnespie Quote
