When my first marriage ended I had problems with the 'out laws' they kept coming to the house demanding she gets half of everything, I made sure she did, I sawed all of the furniture, (suite, bed, wardrobes the fucking lot) in half and said calmly, "which half would she like"

I feel sorry that some relationships end so bad that people have to resort to stuff like this and not part on a good note.

 

Having said that, I do find halving the furniture very amusing!

Gave mine everything. I'm now skint but in a much better place. No point fighting when you have kids, it hurts them the most in the long run.

Went through it and came out the other side. If your married and have any children which i have your screwed as a father re-settlements.All i cared about was the welfare of my daughter who luckily enough didn't seem to be affected by all the crap so i am grateful. Now have a favulous gf in Bolton. Life goes on but was horrible at the time.
