Simple answer

Families don't sit with fans

Harsh but necessary.

How is it not?

Its come from Nixon, so I think we can say it is.

I thought everyone had finally realised Nixon gets all his info direct from the club/gartside.

Because firstly even if he's often right he's a journo

We don't know he's right now and we also don't know his agenda

Let's then say Eagles does say he's leaving because of that

Well we have witness reports today she wasn't abused

And we also don't know HIS agenda; after all he's been dropped hasn't he. He could be out of favour and using convenient excuses

If he said he wanted to leave because he wasn't getting in anymore he'd not be looked upon as favourably would he??

Doesn't mean it's not all true, but I'd stay away from courts if you think that it's anywhere near cast iron

Its come from Nixon

We all know that means its likely to be true.

I dont knkw how this can be debated anymore

We have cast iron fact that one of our players wants to leave because of the treatment of the fans towards him

Spin it anyway you want to ignore the truth if you want

if this is how it does pan out, this is the first time I'd say I've seen it and the ironic clapping at his sub by some tards has gone some way to this happening

but because this has happened, doesn't mean it was right that, for example, Nolan and Taylor were hounded out as you seem to think they were

if we're going off newspaper reports

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-1132222/No-Mr-Bolton-Nolan-ready-earn-stripes-Sunderland-clinching-4-5m-Newcastle.html

"It is a sad time leaving Bolton and my missus summed it up when she said it was a really sad day and she was as gutted as me"

or taylor

http://www.guardian.co.uk/football/2011/jul/20/bolton-matt-taylor-west-ham

"29-year-old's position was under threat from Martin Petrov"

Nolan was so gutted he went on a 2 day bender with his dad in the Bigg Market after signing. Taylor was one more knob off the wage bill, Christine Eagles will be the same. All that remains is for Mears to pack his bags and the Burnley dross will be gone.

I personally want us to keep Eagles, I think this little break will do him good and hopefully come back in refreshed and show the early season form.

Maybe whoever wrote that little snippet in the paper yesterday got his information from this thread?

Just a thought like.

What do you mean??

It's a cast iron fact

He's also tweeted that Eagles isn't happy about a couple of things

Guess this is the better headline though?

He's also tweeted that we'll finish 6th, so that must be gospel too

If Eagles wants to go I will drive him anywhere in the country clearly got a talent but a grade A fanny and fragile, he won't be missed.

I reckon there'd be plenty of clubs who'd take him off our hands for what we paid for him. I bet he looks dead good on Youtube.

As long as Dougie brings in good cover for Chungy and someone else to play on the left in the summer I'd not be too unhappy to see him go.

He can be brilliant on his day, Stoke at home and Wigan away last season spring to mind, but if he has a shocker then we, as a team, too often seem to have a poor day.

I agree with alot of what you say usually, but not this time, he would be missed.

See I worry we can't recoup what we paid (even though I'm not sure what we actually paid 2 mill?) I see no prem teams being interested and not many championships clubs will match what we pay him.

I reckon £2m is a good price for someone who, as long as the team is set up correctly around him, can be an extremely effective player.

Fair point on the wages though if they are high (seems to be our biggest problem in getting rid of players doesn't it?!). Anyone any idea what he's on? Shirley it's peanuts seeing as Coyle slashed our wage bill...

Well I know OC is hardly a source of merit these days but when I went to the Q and A night at the start of the season he pointed out the 14 or whatever number it was that left in the summer, he'd been trying to get rid of the majority for over a year but their contracts were far too good

He also pointed out that everyone at the club has big performance incentives in their contracts and lower basics. While this doesn't give an answer to what they are actually on I'd hazard a guess at while its lower, it will still be very high compared to virtually everyone in this division as no one seems desperate to leave.

I think anyone would struggle to disagree with that

big assumption there that chungy will stay

dunno if he wants out or not but I doubt his agent, or maybe even he, will want another season in the championship next year if there's any top flight in europe sniffing about

True, but I'm not sure he's done enough since his return from injury to really catch anyone's eye.

Well, Eagles may get his chance again if Mavies is out for a while

Tomski will be writing the get well soon card as I type
