I did enjoy the somewhat retro "Lancashire, la la la" in the second half. Thought I heard Krazy Korner singing "this might be a shithole, but at least it's not Hull" but it sounded far too imaginative by usual standards.

Hull is deffo a shithole. Went to asda in Hull once. Was like going back in time 30 years. Also full of Jeremy Kyle regulars.

Indeed, getting better with games, been bursting to play regularly and show people what he can do. As I said after Burnley, saw most of his time at Rochdale and he was a decent, no nonsense defender who was a major threat in the other side's penalty box - double figures for goals in two successive seasons.

 

He's clearly got a very good footballing brain, it's no coincidence that he is on the end of pretty much every ball that comes within 18 yards of our goal, he reads the game very well but also knows his limitations. If he has time on the ball then he will look to play a pass and keep it simple, but if he is under any pressure then he always makes the right decision and gets rid of it. The fact he is such a goal threat is an added bonus.

Had a lad from Hull came to work for me in Wilmslow. Of all our graduates in '88 he had the best marks in the aptitude test.

I'm normally a steward detester but well done today. Hull fans were Dicks going 20 on 1 before the game. I hope they got there heads kicked in. I know why we hate Yorkshire

Regarding the overreaction of the stewards today, I speak to one our two of the hit squad and when they go into the crowd they make sure the cctv is on the person they're ejecting. They then approach that person and tell them they are on cctv and can either walk out or be pulled out. Either way they're going out. What's the point of fighting then?

 

They have someone in the control room scanning faces for people on banning orders. It is often these that are kicked out when nothing seems to be kicking off.

Fucking disgrace. Our first goal was proberbly our best of the season and they only showed the cross and header! The build up was great with Ngog and Davies taking Hull players on.

What a difference it made leaving out all the usual suspects who have lets us down this season. No Mears Andrews Eagles and K Davies. We looked like a team yesterday. Good to see us going at them from the first kick. It just shows what were capable of when we attack. First time in ages ive see the starting eleven and not thought what the fuck. If we stick with the same team bar one or two tweaks and use positive tactics we may have a chance to salvage something from this season. Its no wonder we are near the bottom weve been playing with seven some weeks. Barcalona couldnt carry that many passangers. Fair fucks to Dougie he has finally got it right, we might actually get somewhere now.
