Only talking before the game about starting quick. Game over after 10 mins. Thought mavies, Dawson and chippy were superb. Pratley also did well. Sordell just didn't seem up for it, but squad has depth and great options for doggie to bring on. Just shows the lack of quality in this division that Cardiff, hull, Leicester and Watford have all visited us and none have won. On another note, why sing about being being shit at home when we have only lost 3!

Got to Scotts carpark at 14:59.

 

Heard one cheer whilst I was looking for my phone in the foot well (I'd just put it in my pocket),another whilst I was trying not to slip on the grass hill,then a 3rd as I fumbled around trying to remember what pocket I'd put my season ticket in!...Still not seen the goals yet!

 

From what I did manage to see,they simply never recovered enough to mount a serious challenge to make a comeback.

It's the away form that's the problem

The league is poor and we have a great squad at this level.

It's just a total mystery how we have performed the way we have so far IMO.

Let's hope today is a springboard for the next few games. 3 out of 4 at home too.

The play offs are not out of the question but we need the consistency that we haven't had for 2 years.

The DF revolution continues. Steady progression. It's taken him about 4 months to steady the ship. Defensively, we look a different outfit. Special mentions for Bogdan and Knight, both of whom also had a good day. I was most impressed by how hard we battled today, even at 3-0 up. Keep building and next season we'll be a force in this league.....

What a cracking start that was, and a fine first goal. Pratley was great throughout and deserved mom.

 

Was there goal heavily deflected? Couldn't tell from where I was sat.

Goal deflected off the wall a bit. Proper annoying at the time as the ball went through a huge gap that had a Hull player stood there ready to shift out of the way with nobody stood behind him.

When the target is promotion, which is why Coyle was sacked and Dougie taken on it is only wins that are good enough.Draws are points dropped.We now need 10 wins from 13 to reach the play offs.If we don't get them the season goes down as a failure and we start again in August

Indeed, getting better with games, been bursting to play regularly and show people what he can do. As I said after Burnley, saw most of his time at Rochdale and he was a decent, no nonsense defender who was a major threat in the other side's penalty box - double figures for goals in two successive seasons.

The first goal today was very nice indeed

 

Dawson was my MOM, Pratley deserves a mention again and Mavies and Chungy 1st half were very good

 

Course it was a bit boring after we were 3 up, but that's only for te best possible reason; we'd won the game!

 

One negative-ish thing if you take it that way; Can we now stop using this "Dougie keeps it right for 60-70 minutes" shit excuse that's been used and actually take on board that we haven't been good in those periods.

 

Yeah sure he's keeping it tighter than OC, but it's all relative, I'm sure he wants is to go after teams and kill them off like that as much as we can
