If and I mean if because I suspect we will fuck it up, when are the play off games?

While a play-off trip on May 12th is likely to be to Watford, it might be to Hull City.

Hull City share the KC Stadium with Hull FC, of Rugby League fame.

The 5th round of the RL Challenge Cup is on 11th/12th May.

Both Hull FC and Hull KR are drawn at home.

Police are unlikely to want both matches on the same day.

Who wants a rugby match on the pitch the day before the play-off?

And will the BBC choose Hull KR v Wigan as their spoiler for the FA Cup final?

The M62 could be a bit full with Hull KR v Wigan and Hull City v Bolton on the same day.

And the KC could be a bit full with Hull City v Bolton followed by Hull FC v Wakefield Thingummies.

Any chance of switching the legs round!!!!?

It would also give the ticket office a half chance to cope.

Looking highly likely now.

Both rugby teams have played at home and at the same time on the same day plenty of times before

Butterflies anybody ?

Everybody seems to be a little anxious.

Simple plan, get stuck right into the bastards. They won't fancy going to Magaluf on crutches. Then,do the same to their players

The RL ties were announced as 11/12 May, but now they are described as 10-12 May.

I suspect Hull FC will be on 10 May if the play-off on the same ground is 12 May.

Huddersfield Giants is the TV game on 11 May.

In terms of location and date, I'd prefer Hull.

However, I think that Brighton are the best "other" team in the play offs and I also think we'd have more chance of beating them over 2 legs than at Wembley; so that may be the best bet....

To be honest though I'd snap your hands off right now for just making tthe play offs with no choice of who we're playing

I'm not fussed who we play, just want to get in them. Lets face it, we all wanted Stoke in the FA Cup semi final......

Aye, and Stoke wanted us.

No-one will want us this time though.

if brighton are the best other team, and quite possibly better than us

one off would strike me as our best chance

i definitely don't want palace slipping out as they've no form whatsoever

I want Hull in terms of form (plus mentally, they'd have blown it) and the fact would probably go the away leg

however, I'll take anyone, though with the home leg first, I'd be nervous about playing for 1-0 at home then going away to try and defend it, no matter who we play

Maybe it would be; just remmebering the way they knocked it about at their place, I don't know if I'd want them on a big pitch. My thought process was beat them at home and stifle them away

But as Zico rightly says, we're not the best at that

I wonder if we do get to the play offs, if we'll play 4-4-2 at home and 4-5-1 away from home if we're leading - Vela, Medo and Pratley...as he's favoured at Leicester and Cardiff?

At least if/when we play Brighton that document their Supporters Club submitted to the FA (and was published online) has given us a whole list of previously unthought of songs to aim at them.

i've thought we could do it since before forest but now we're nearly there, i'm coming over all queer

You a secret Brighton fan?

As a matter of interest if we get through and play ull, what capacity is the away end.

i think we had all the end for the league game (was only about a quarter full, mind) but no doubt they have more demand now

if they try playing the cunt, we cut their allocation

i'd guess that stand holds between 4 and 5

Edited by Casino

I really don't care who we play

We are the form team

But, I don't think we'll make Wembley

I bet we wouldnt. Full south stand no matter what! ITK FACT MMW

They don't usually give the whole stand to away teams. Thought we had about two thirds of it which is usually the norm. They did give forest the whole stand a month or two back because they asked for more tickets.

If we get in the play offs I really, really hope we get hull. Not only is it as good as a home game for me, they're on poor form, Steve Bruce is a cunt, and I have to work with a number of their fans. If you looked up the words deluded fans in a dictionary it would say 'see hull fans'. Some reckon that if they became established in the premiership they would get 50,000 every game! Think their average this season is about 17,000
