Incredible that the focus is on some supposed Muamba songs which nobody heard when the Bolton fans managed their 10th-20th year in a row of assaulting Rovers fans outside the ground. Granted it seemed tonight there was more giving as much as they got from our fans but that doesn't excuse the abhorrent behaviour of their thugs. Every single year it kicks off outside their ground and every single year its their fans moving round the stadium to confront ours. Absolutely class again, he covers some serious ground that lad and is a big part in us being able to play a 4 man midfield and not get over-run. Who says football fans are fickle .

 

Spearings now showing game after game that he's a very good player, not Liverpool standard, but more than good enough for a side thats looking to get promoted from this league.

I am as fickle as the rest reckoning that Pratley just needed to lose the ley off his name. But fair play to the lad DF influence and a run of games and he has blossomed and become an integral part of the team. Eagles needed a rest but can to a degree fill the void left by Mavies. The celebrations around us ESL were effin tremendous - best since Stuart Holden shut the inbreds up 2 seasons back. Most importantly Marc505 - How were Girls Aloud mate?

I'm not overly convinced by Spearing still; he's a slightly poorer John Sheridan for me; makes nice sideways passes & gets stuck in, but that's it. I think Medo will be his successor post this season if he turns out to be decent.

 

I'm with you on Pratley; I thought he was out of depth last season, but recently he's been our stand out player. I suppose it shows how hard it is to come into a team/clubh on a downward spiral and be a success........another indication of the previous Management's mismanagement perhaps.....or more kudos to DF and team? Or probably a bit of both........
