OMG how bad are Hull?

Man for man they are not a patch on us.

They're 4 points off the top and I've seen them 3 times recently and they've ground out the win every time.

This division is severely lacking in quality.

One thing is for sure this league can't be as forgiving next year. I can't remember a season we have been given so many chances to kick start our season. It's virtually every week. The bottom teams seem to have got a grip of the 'business end of the season' a lot better than the top teams.

You do what you have to in this league. It's one big grind

Performances and results (lately) have improved. Moral on the pitch has improved, and the atmosphere on the terraces has improved.

We can't afford to be promoted and have to start again with the "should it be Mad Mick, Sunbed or Dowie" when we inevitably come back down.

Next season is the one.

If this is a fishing trip it is indeed a blonde haired policeman. Apologies.

Here's hoping that we get off to a flyer next season

Having been in total control in the first half, then have a dubious offside goal given against. Second half we folded to a second rate side and if the official in charge is ever picked to referee another game I hope its a sunday school match because thats all the f----- was capable of. Thanks alot pal season over you ----

Th'East Midlands Whites are just back and are drinking cautiously.

Today was what Barnsley could have been, and that's our problem. Sneeking into the playoffs and then up could be worst thing we do....we're simply not very good, though no worse or better than loads around us. But that's going to be the problem for whoever goes up, unless they can get a big financial backer in.

Good turnout, but a bit muted compared to some of the recent games. Mind, it was fuckin freezing.

Just seen the goals, couldn't really make too much out as they were only quick highlights. Sloppy springs to mind. only saw one Ricketts tackle and Craig Davids looked harsh. In sadder news I watched the dmbs on tele today. Things could be worse folks!

3 away wins out of 20 is very poor.

Some people need to calm downa bit. To put things in perspective, none of the sides above us have won this weekend, were a point worse off than before to day with 2 home games coming up. It's not over till it's over.

Points taken today and yesterday:

 

Cardiff 0; (Hull late ko); Watford 1; Palace 0; Forest 1; Leicester 0; Brighton 1; Bolton 0; Middlesbrough 0; Leeds 0.

 

So it's disappointing, it's frustrating, but it's hardly the end of the world - or even of the season.

 

2 players double-carded - another disaster. But they miss Tuesday's match. Butterfield can take Ricketts' spot and CDavies was a sub anyway.

 

So all in all it just makes things 1 or 2% more difficult.

And anyone watching results would not take comfort in matches against the bottom 6. Definitely easier now against top 6.

 

Jeez what kind of fuckwits are on this site???? Because other teams did equally shite doesn't make it OK for us to. Follow that to a logical conclusion and we finish the season where we are now. Today was exactly the day when we should have made progress up the league - chances like today are fast running out so don't tell me it doesn't really matter.
