gonzo Posted April 29, 2013 Posted April 29, 2013 For me the rivalry doesn't mean much but that's just a personal thing as I wasn't born when these incidents took place. Preston are our rivals in my eyes and I would even put Burnley ahead of Bolton. As far the game, I would naturally love it if we stopped you from making the play offs but I can't see it for two reasons: 1) You are in top form 2) Our players will probably be thinking about their holidays. Half of your players are raving bing merchants. Quote
seasider Posted April 29, 2013 Author Posted April 29, 2013 Half of your players are raving bing merchants. I would love to reply back about your players but I don't know any of your players unless Kevin Davies still plays. Quote

seasider Posted April 29, 2013 Author Posted April 29, 2013 (edited) Some questions which hopefully you can answer for our match day thread? 1) What do you think the score will be? 2) What Bolton player(s) should we watch out for? 3) Are you concerned about any Blackpool player(s) 4) There is a lot of talk about Blackpool and Bolton having a one way rivalry. If Bolton don't care, who are your main rivals? 5) If Blackpool played Man Utd in the FA Cup final, who would you want to win? 6) Did you attend the match at Bloomfield? If so, how do you rate the portaloos? 7) Do you think you will go up? Is Dougie Freedman a Bolton legend? 9) Was Blackpool v Bolton in 1953 the greatest ever FA Cup final? 10) Do you think Peter Kaye is funny? Edited April 29, 2013 by seasider Quote
Eavesy Posted April 29, 2013 Posted April 29, 2013 Will they do an end of season lap of honour after this game or the play off game if we make it? Quote
paulhanley Posted April 29, 2013 Posted April 29, 2013 Some questions which hopefully you can answer for our match day thread? 1) What do you think the score will be? 3-2 for Bolton 2) What Bolton player(s) should we watch out for? Medo Kamara 3) Are you concerned about any Blackpool player(s) Ince 4) There is a lot of talk about Blackpool and Bolton having a one way rivalry. If Bolton don't care, who are your main rivals? United, Blackburn 5) If Blackpool played Man Utd in the FA Cup final, who would you want to win? Blackpool. I'd want a team of fucking martians to win against that shit. 6) Did you attend the match at Bloomfield? If so, how do you rate the portaloos? No. 7) Do you think you will go up? Lottery. Dunno. Is Dougie Freedman a Bolton legend? He's made a good start. I wouldn't swap him for Ince, that's for sure. 9) Was Blackpool v Bolton in 1953 the greatest ever FA Cup final? No. That was 1958. 10) Do you think Peter Kaye is funny? Yes. Quote
Traf Posted April 29, 2013 Posted April 29, 2013 4-1 to Bolton Chris Eaves No Bury are more significant than you and they are footballing amoeba I'd want Al Qaeda to bomb Wembley and remove 90,000 cunts from the planet No, but considering your ground is a shithole, I'm guessing the facilities are on a par with Turf Moor I think we've the best chance of those not going up automatically Not a legend, Lofthouse was a legend. Legends aren't made inside 30 games. It's probably the best to your lot, but not for us. Peter Kay is an unfunny fat cunt. Quote
no balls Posted April 29, 2013 Posted April 29, 2013 Traf, there's no bar in the away end. It's shit. Me and Widnes lasted half an hour and 15 minutes of that we were shaking like dogs having a poo. The bogs however are not quite as bad as Burnley's. HTH Quote

Marc505 Posted April 29, 2013 Posted April 29, 2013 Will they do an end of season lap of honour after this game or the play off game if we make it? I could well be wrong as its been ages but I seem to remember them doing a lap of honour after the final home league games leading into the different play off games we had - it always felt a bit strange that they were doing that, then we were back there a week or so later and back into full competitive mode Quote
no balls Posted April 29, 2013 Posted April 29, 2013 Scott's opening at 10am apparently. Bollocks! I'm not supping till after the game thinking there won't be time to have loads before anyway. Quote

snowball Posted April 29, 2013 Posted April 29, 2013 Got a bad feeling about this. Will be a hard game against a team with nowt to lose. I see a 1-1 draw and then it's out of our hands. But wouldn't be end of world apart from smug little shithouses like Seasider thinking they've got one over on us. Quote

Can't see our players giving a shit which would be a shame. I can assure you, I will rub it in should we win and if you do beat us, I am sure I will offer my congratulations. Quote

EyesRight Posted April 29, 2013 Posted April 29, 2013 Not sure whether to get there at 9.45 or 10.15...is there anything more desperate than hanging outside a pub waiting for it to open? Quote
