April 28, 201313 yr Ridiculous he's not here for the most important game of the season We didn't have a choice in the matter though, as West Brom didn't want to loan him out for any longer, so not a lot we an do about it
April 28, 201313 yr We didn't have a choice in the matter though, as West Brom didn't want to loan him out for any longer, so not a lot we an do about it That's also odd tbf
April 28, 201313 yr That's also odd tbf I agree, but I think the reason he's not here ow is down to WBA and not Bolton - presumably this won't stop people using it as a reason to slag the club off though
April 28, 201313 yr think people forget this in assuming our march to the premier league yesterday we were really under the cosh, exactly the kind of game we lost before Dawson
April 28, 201313 yr We're certainly going to miss him that's for sure, but not a lot we can do about it, we'll just have to crack on and hope that whoever comes in is up to the task in hand
April 28, 201313 yr part of the problem is knight and dawson (I think) have played pretty much every game no-one else has much match time
April 28, 201313 yr think people forget this in assuming our march to the premier league yesterday we were really under the cosh, exactly the kind of game we lost before Dawson See I didn't think we were under that much pressure for the most part. And the fact that Knight is more or less ever present makes me less concerned about someone else stepping up. Dawson has been good for us, no doubt, but I think the improvement has also coincided with us being far more organised as a team. My biggest worry is our sizeable knobhead contingent hurling abuse at whoever isn't Dawson at the first sign of trouble.
April 28, 201313 yr I agree, but I think the reason he's not here ow is down to WBA and not Bolton - presumably this won't stop people using it as a reason to slag the club off though What was the bit about bending the rules to keep him but DF didn't want to? Anyway, fuck him, he hasn't scored in ages Will be happy enough to see Wheater back fit and playing
April 28, 201313 yr We didn't have a choice in the matter though, as West Brom didn't want to loan him out for any longer, so not a lot we an do about it It's fairly standard the way things are evolving. Just as we loaned Holden out to allow him match time with a club who then wanted to keep him till the season ends. WBA may certainly benefit by playing him over the next few weeks.
April 28, 201313 yr If the loan deal was over 3 months WBA could not recall him. However we could still send him back should they have injuries and we felt sorry for them.etc etc. that is to my knowlege the bending the rules part
April 28, 201313 yr Thought he was superb. Atleast we have one game to let his replacement show his worth and then hopefully that person'll be ready for a playoff game....hopefully
April 28, 201313 yr If the loan deal was over 3 months WBA could not recall him. However we could still send him back should they have injuries and we felt sorry for them.etc etc. that is to my knowlege the bending the rules part When he came, Clarke said that it wasn't a permanent move. Suspect he wants to see how he shapes up in the final 3 or 4 games of the season in the 1st team. So there's not much that Freedman could do.
April 28, 201313 yr Cheers Dawson for helping everyone see that knight isn't the bag of shite some Pillocks love to spout
April 28, 201313 yr Is it cuntish to hope Clarke plays him and he has a 'mare? ... prompting him to consider selling to us in the summer?

However we could still send him back should they have injuries and we felt sorry for them.etc etc. that is to my knowlege the bending the rules part This explains bits of it a little more http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-2274879/Football-League-loan-window-explained.html
April 28, 201313 yr so we had him for 93 days and he couldn't stay any longer, unless DF bent the rules
April 28, 201313 yr so we had him for 93 days and he couldn't stay any longer, unless DF bent the rules Looks, like it, I presuming "bending the rules" would involve telling fibs about our injury situation.
April 29, 201313 yr He's been the difference since he joined, he could've turned up and thought fuck it i will just tsay her for a few months pick up my wage every week and then go back home, but he's rolled his sleeves up and got stuck in and been fantastic for us Good luck to him in the future, lets hope the future is with us
April 29, 201313 yr Is it cuntish to hope Clarke plays him and he has a 'mare? ... prompting him to consider selling to us in the summer? But they play Wigan on Saturday!
April 29, 201313 yr But they play Wigan on Saturday! West Brom win 10-5. Dawson at fault for all 5 and also sent off. Simples.
April 29, 201313 yr Cheers Dawson for helping everyone see that knight isn't the bag of shite some Pillocks love to spout Knight does seem to need babysitting though. We need him to step up in the absence of Dawson. Hopefully he can keep performing well whoever he is partnered with.
Thank you, goodbye and good luck.
