Maggie Tate Posted October 31, 2014 Posted October 31, 2014 I think the finest of the sub $10 South African reds available on the diplomatic circuit in Kabul this year is the Western Cape Kumala Cabernet Sauvignon Shiraz, at $9.75. The development is of ripe red fruits, old men wanking into socks and a homeless woman's gusset. It then matures into burnt tyres, a failed suicide attempt and a four hour Wednesday evening traffic jam on the A14. The finish is immaculate, with hints of Lambert and Butler ashtray, watered down with Bells whisky and the gentleman's convenience at Baghdad International Airport. A perfect food match would ready salted Pringles, ten Capstan full strength or a quarter of Jesmona black bullets. Quote
