He was okay hanging onto Peter Kay's coat tails in Phoenix Nights but now he's going it alone I don't find him the least bit entertaining. He may be a decent bloke and he's the flavour of the month at ITV at the moment as he seems to be on everything.

I went to see one of his first warm up shows in Bury when he did his first stand up tour. Was hit and miss. The stuff that he does on ITV is very unfunny(in my opinion) but you cannot knock the lad for making the best of himself, obviously im out of kilter from "mainstream" viewing because ratings is all that matter for itv, and he keeps getting primetime shows.
