Stay Or Go?

End of last season was so promising.

he does talk a good game

Signings have been poor imo, not totally his fault granted

but this is our worst start in a long, long, long time.

cant it be allowed to go on?

will we achieve anything by removing him?

who else is there?

He'll turn it around.

Times up. I'm starting to think we fluked 7th last season.

Getting rid of him leaves us at square one. On the basis of last season, he'll turn it round.

If you can name me a manager that could get the best out of that shite we have, then I'd say yes, get rid.

We just need to face the fact the the players aint good enough.

Yeovil is shit or bust I'm afraid.

I personally think he will turn it around.

If we get rid and bring in some also ran we will go down.

I'll take 1,3 and 4 please.

I do wish he'd have a day off from bleating about finances. We could all manage the club if we had millions.

The finances are playing a key part in the way we're performing? He's attempted to improve the squad by bringing players in but hasn't had the funds to do so.

A little more time (Yeovil). Anything other than 3 points and a solid performance he can get to fuck.

If we get rid it would have to be for someone good. The recent history of our appointments doesn't suggest we will do that. Having said that can anyone see us turning this round as it stands?

So who paid for Baptiste, Tierney, Beckford, Spearing, Medo, C Davies, Hall, Moritz

All DF's signings, he wasn't forced into signing any of them so he must have thought that they would all improve the squad

Those who think he should be given more time. How much more time? Because there's no point in saying that everything's O.K. if we beat Yeovil at home, when it leaves us on 6 points from 9 games. It's still not good enough.

He's also wanted to sign a number of others but lack of funds have stopped him, Ramage and Kightly for example.

He's still had more money than most of the clubs in this league.

Has he? I'd need to see the facts because for a side that's apparently aiming for promotion, compared to other clubs I don't think he's spent much at all.

So being allowed to bring in 8 new 1st team players isn't enough for Freedman to improve us ?, as well as his 'so called' ability to bring youngsters through should surely enable us to have more than 3 points from 8 games at Championship level

Get shut now - let him go and learn his trade elsewhere

I've given the benefit of the doubt but enough is enough. I wanted it to work but it hasn't. To be honest we were lucky at the end of last season and apart from Hull, we never looked that convincing.

What has he really achieved as a manager, a good six months at Palace last season, but nothing else really. Sorry Dougie, you had a chance but time to step aside.

I want to give him a bit more time, but I feel he'll only get one more game.

A totally unproven young Manager appointed at a club who expected promotion, last year and this.

I said at the time, wrong man, wrong club.

On paper we have a very strong team/squad.

Its down to the manager to utilise and nurture that talent and ability.

He obviously cannot.

He needs to go and immediately.

We have more chance beating Yeovil without him than with him.

He's been over promoted and is being found out big style.

This simply cannot be allowed to go on any longer.

He has. We're one of the top four in terms of spending.

This square one, where is that? Not bottom of the Championship I'm sure.

If that's the case then I'm shocked, have you got a link to the figures so I can have a root through?

I think in the long term most will improve the squad and I do rate the players he's brought in. Fact remains though he's also wanted to bring in other players but lack of funds have prevented him.

Are we bollocks top 4 in terms of spending. Indeed, you can't even know without have every single wage, bonus, transfer fee etc. from every club to hand, which no one has.

We're top four in terms of transfer fees. In terms of net spend, we're even higher, because both QPR and Wigan have recouped more than they've spent.

I wouldn't think we're far off the top six in terms of wage bill. We were top three in that category last season.
