ST obviously can't name the player BUT it's not just one player who's said it,it's the players collectively.  I've scratched the surface on this before and was quickly dismissed by non-believers. Something is sadly wrong.   Freedman,as good as he's trying,is stubborn, blinkered and taking this proud ship down.   let's see where we are next season and where he is

Must just be something with our last 2 jocks both start ok then just lose the dressing room it's mad how quick you can slide

Fact is, boys and girls, if he's lost the dressing room then he's toast.

Right or wrong, it's only a matter of time now.

Depressing that we've got so many folk on here who try their best to undermine the club or peddle theories that effectively try to undermine the club, the manager or the team.

But judging by this board, we've got bloody loads.

No wonder there's a crisis of confidence.

Enjoy League One, you deserve it. If you bother going. You might have another manager or two to bad mouth here instead.

Another example of player power in football if this is true.

Makes no sense, why would they let Dougie carry on bringing in players last week if they're going to get rid.

Wish we weren't so skint then we could sack the players (causing problems) right off.

I don't think they're in the majority. Well, I bloody hope not

I understand fans saying the players should fuck off for blaming the manager but if they're not being steered in the right direction, then what other choice have they got ?

they know they can perform better if they're settled but we're certainly not a settled team.   i'd give anyone a £1,000 if they could name the starting eleven on Tuesday. in fact i'd give freedman a grand if he named his starting X1 for Tuesday and didn't change it.   he smacks more of nepotism than coyle

I've not bad mouthed him or attempted to undermine him. I'm just pointing out the reality of the situation if what MIami has said is true.

IF (capitals, italics and underlined for the hard of understanding) a manager loses the dressing room there's only one way the story will end.

tbh I have and still do stick by freedman however that does fuck me off the way he rotates and changes no wonder players are kicking off, whatever level you play at you need to be playing with the same guys

I couldn't give a toss whether the players like DF or not but if they had any professional pride, they would realise the fans deserve better performances than they are delivering.

If they are playing badly to get DF the boot, then I hope we fuck them off too, overpaid underworked tossbags

Maybe dougie plays a different team every week because the players won't respond to a single one he tries?

Just a thought like.

On Saturday, these players couldn't even pass basic balls to each other, that isn't Freedman's fault, that's basics of a professional footballers job.

A fair bit of the swapping & changing of personnel has been forced by injuries & suspensions & last time I checked it was supposed to be a 'squad' game now.

If players think they can do a Sunderland, they need to take a good hard look in the mirror first. I'm no fan of Gartside's, but if this does come out as being true, he'd better do his job properly, & that's not sacking Freedman.

look at how alex ferguson had the red shite playing in his tenure.       look at how moyes has them playing now. worst start in diddles's life.

I was only sharing a conversation that I had today and if you consider that having done that I have undermined the club, manager and team then you're sadly mistaken. I want my team to be a successful as you do but nothing I have shared with you will come as a surprise, not least to DF. He knows just how the players feel about the situation but it appears he is too arrogant to acknowledge the fact he could be wrong (selection/tactics/management style etc). I was led to believe Lennie L had more influence initially but I can't get to the bottom of whether this is still the case.

your right gonzo he must be ripping his hair out but for me just stick with the same side a little longer

players will perform for one manager but will dislike another manager's way of thinking. Moyes has got one hell of a tough act to follow

Even if there was discontentment and unrest amongst the players surely there over inflated wages and pride in their own performance should result in better than we have to put up with this season. The players need to look at themselves before the manager.

it's not pal

so lets get this right if we get another manager knight will turn into maldini and ngog will become messi thats bollocks at the end of the day they're

professional footballers that means paid to do a job and i'm sorry they can hardly say they are doing that  so before slating anybody else  they really need to take a look at themselves regardless of what they think about the manager it should be personnel pride that makes you play i'm not one them that boo's players not during or after a game i don't believe any player goes out on the pitch to make a bad pass or to miss the goal on purpose but shit happens but the players revolting against freedman is the same as us booing them if they don't like the way the team is set up surely they can say something to him

Aaaaaand breathe
