October 8, 201312 yr Okocha and Djorkaeff no, but what he did for us in the Prem was just as good as players like Dioufy and Stelios imo, player of the season, goals, assists a great World Cup 2010 also proved how good he was. He wasn't along with Holden anything to do with our relegation, and I think mentally the broken leg as put him backwards and now obviously not doing it at this level. Call him sh,it now for his performances in the Championship, but don't forget how good he was for us in the Premiership.He's our most talented player along with Eagles, also Holden and M.Davies, he's our player that other fans see as our main man because of what he's done in the past, he's clearly not performing as our best, his name and his past before injury is still enough I guess for other clubs to want him. October 8, 201312 yr Thought CYL has been particularly poor this season and really looks like he can't be arsed. Cash in by all means if we can. Not sure about Eagles, certainly capable of winning a game on his own and if he can be bothered in this division, we could walk some games

October 8, 201312 yr just watched our goal of the month nominations for september the derby match reminded me that both can still contribute positively to matches not sure why they don't on a regular basis if we judge DF on what he did at Palace, we should judge Eagles on what he did for us last season - he's still got plenty to offer CYL - just not the same anymore, he could be good, but if he's not hitting the heights here it maybe time to move him on, not really arsed to be honest

I'm genuinely amazed people would be sad to see either go. based on our time in the championship I'd say it's clear CYL isn't as good as he used to be post leg break, and Eagles can play a big part for us if you look at things like, I dunno, goals and assists this isn't an over night decision

I don't think it is that intangible to link the fall we have had directly with players like him replacing players like Taylor etc.
