Ngog comes on and we suddenly create 3 chances from him making something out of shite balls.

Ngog looked pretty good apart from his final touch, he improved midfield.

More often than not , in my highly biased opinion, his final touch looks shite because that final touch should be a pass, but the players around him make shite runs.

In the end it appears they are making runs to make space but in reality they are just running to get marked which is a popular decision amongst alot of our players

Still can't find that fluency just another championship battle bogdan at fault for the goal and disallowed goal baptiste at left back for 6 month is not good or fair on him looks very uncomfortable still waiting for that click

My take:

 

I thought Bogdan was our best player, which is worrying; a couple of very good saves

 

Mills was good for most parts - he won alot in the air in open play but strangely lost his man at a few set pieces

 

After that....well, McNaughton was bobbins; often got roasted - looks weak to me too. And Baptiste; had another shocker. LB just isn't for him

 

Medo was terrible for the most part; the game bypassed him in great chunks and his own passing is terrible as 50% of the time he doesn't look, just swings a foot at it. Shame because when he thinks about it he can actually pick a man out

 

Feeney and Danns looked bright first 20 and I thought I may have to swallow my pride on Danns but then he disappeared again like previously. Feeney got neither the service nor the support required. And Eagles is a passenger. He was getting alot of shit from the WSU grumpy owd men, which is tiresome, but FFS he needs to at least look like he's interested or more and more folk are going to turn on him

 

I actually thought Chungy looked dangerous when he came on; we briefly found a few passes through him, and at least Hall seemed wound up for the fight

 

Which brings me to this

 

When their lad got sent off, it was all kicking off a bit - they surrounded the ref, Spearing etc....our lot just stood there in the main. Mills, our biggest fucker was stood 30 yards away from it all just watching.....Gerry Taggart, Per Frandsen, Johnny Sheridan etc would've been into 'em. And that's what we need right now and in this league is a bit of togetherness, a bit of passion, a bit of solidarity and yeah a bit of naughtiness- it's too easy for folk to come to the Reebok and have a good day with our pussies on that pitch letting them

He has also gone back on his philosophy of changing teams. Surprisingly when we went unbeaten for 2 games he named the same team at Brum.

The finish surprised me. When he didn't twat it with his right first time I thought we were in bother. It was lovely in the end

 

I thought Medo was the worse of the 2 but it's tallest dwarf debate as both were shit

I don't understand what he's trying to do. One up front. 3 midfielders falling over each other in the middle, none of whom could be described as creative. A left back at right back. Made to look average, apart from first quarter of an hour and last 10, against a side who can't buy a win. Progress? Not from where I was sitting.

 

On the crowd, I actually guessed 17,100 - seemed right, they must have had close to 2.5k. As mentioned before, with prices between 28 and 33 notes today I'm amazed we're getting the crowds we are. Those on the day prices need seriously looking at if we're to attract any new fans. Playing something resembling football might help with that tho as well.

 

And as for the fanzone, it's shite. £3.30 for a 440ml can of bitter?! Up from what used to be £1.80 I think. Same with the bus fares - we go down and the price doubles?! Only BWFC could apply that kind of logic.

I'm struggling to understand why we have absolutely no midfield. It's like a ghost town for most of the game in the middle of the park.

Centre back pairing of Mills and Ream our best and looked pretty solid today.

Midfield was shit throughout but Chungy did well when he came on, putting that great ball in for Eagles.

Glad Beckford scored and hopefully more to come from him but he was pretty quiet for rest of game.

Overall, we are still shit.
