Just reading a few things, and Im not one for conspiracies around it, or anything. But I found what Kate wrote in her biography on page 129, very very strange.

 

 

No idea except the e-fit, first one looks like her husband and the second like any bloke in Portugal. Waste of time and money.

New bloke arrested this weekend.....in Manchester. Bragging about meeting her last year.

I can't get onto any of the sites from work to link, Google it, and you will see.

 

Im sure its in the book, to try and point out the true mental state of a mother in this situation.

I think she was just openly expressing her worst fears about what might have happened to her little girl.

 

I don't see that as an admission of any guilt.

No its not, shows her state of mind, I suppose.

 

I dont think they are gulty of harming her.

If the McCanns had killed her, which I don't think they did, then I'm sure they would have found the body by now, or they would have slipped up in some way, as no doubt everything they say and do is monitored in case they do let something slip. I don't doubt that she was taken by somebody, I'm not sure they'll ever find her, alive or dead, though

Also the 'Deleted' calls & texts "evidence".

However we went to Portugal this year, similar environment and we'd go up to the apartment for some dinner (and a few beers) and leave the kids playing in the pool outside. They could have been pinched but where does common sense start and mollycoddling end?

 

There's sommat odd about it all though. I don't think they did it at all but I do think there is string evidence to suggest she could be alive. I reckon that even if plod were 80% sure she was dead, they'd have got bored by now and carried on mithering motorists.

There was a programme on ages ago and some ex-copper said that he ALWAYS kept an eye on the press conferences after a child kidnap case - said that the parent who cries first tends to be the one who knows more than they were letting on.

FFS. Whether they are involved or not they are a pair of cranks. Why on god's green earth is she writing books anyway, but particularly writing shit like that? Disgusting.

Nice to see the same efforts being put into finding the child of a privileged couple as went into finding Ben Needham.........

 

The whole thing is odd, too many things don't add up

Their behaviour, just after and many times since makes me very uneasy. The eagerness in which British politicians and media have ridiculed the efforts of the Portuguese investigation smacks is stereotypical of the British "view" that all foreigners are ibeciles when it comes to detective work. The local police and everyone involved were for a couple of days, looking for a child who everyone thought "had wandered off to look for her parents" The scene was therefore compromised on several occasions before it became a crime investigation.

 

I have read extracts of this: http://goncaloamaraltruthofthelie.blogspot.co.uk/2009/06/chapter-1.html and to be fair he makes a number of well reasoned points and rightly points out some highly questionable attitudes of the couple.

 

Its interesting that most  UK media are of the "Jerry & Kate" persuasion whilst others are of the McCann one.

bit i heard on the radio made me think there is some suspicion over the father

 

apparently, this window - the time of the snatching -  was limited to between him checking on the girl and the next check

 

the window has now been extended to before he checked
