  • Haha!   Love it.   Our old neighbour pested me for weeks to replace a fence panel as I had a van,but as I had more important things to do with my spare time like drinking I never got round to it.

Girlfriend's mum told me today that thunderstorms can make pork go off.

Have you ever heard anything so ridiculous?

Girlfriend's mum told me today that thunderstorms can make pork go off.

Have you ever heard anything so ridiculous?

Has she been able to show scientific empirical evidence or does she point at planes?

A lad who worked for me won a pork joint in a large Xmas raffle. He collected his prize on Xmas Eve and cunningly (it would seem) placed it on the window ledge to keep cool. At lunchtime he legged off to the pub and forgot about the pork. By the time he collected it several days later it was definitely off. It might have been thunderstorms...

She's from Chadderton, that's all I could put it down to.

Anyway, she cut up a big joint and chucked it to next doors dog because it was thundering earlier. Couldn't believe what I was witnessing.
