November 15, 201312 yr The last England player to score against Chile is? This guy.....not a clue who he is though Edited November 15, 201312 yr by Walkden26
November 15, 201312 yr World Cup disappointment starts here .......... At least we qualified! Chile have been a good side for the last 5 years and are up for it for their pilgrimage to the home of football as most sides are who seldom get the honour.
November 15, 201312 yr That looked a bad injury Good job Beausejour is rubbish, though England have had chances/made the keeper work. Rodriguez really isn't international class, Lallana neither. Good football from Chile, very Swansea like in their build up from the back, need more work rate from England, Rooney being isolated and pressing on his own. Edited November 15, 201312 yr by Didledee
November 15, 201312 yr At least we qualified! Chile have been a good side for the last 5 years and are up for it for their pilgrimage to the home of football as most sides are who seldom get the honour. So we're being outplayed (1st half) by a team who haven't even qualified ? Still, it’s only a pre-season pre-tournament game, and we don’t want to risk injuries. Anyway it’s only a cup competition we’re talking about. And we haven’t got a full-team out ……. Ooooh …….. spooky. Sounds like déjà vu. Bound to be better 2nd half.

November 15, 201312 yr Well they are good at keeping the ball, backing off and not putting on pressure on them isn't working, they'll just keep passing it around the back with ease without Rooney running at them, but he needs support. and I didn't say he's a bad player, of course not, just don't think he's good enough or showed enough to impress, not like Townsend's debut introduction he or Rodriguez won't be near a starting place at the WC, unless Townsend, Walcott, Welbeck etc aren't fit.
