At least we qualified! Chile have been a good side for the last 5 years and are up for it for their pilgrimage to the home of football as most sides are who seldom get the honour.

Rodriguez really isn't international class, Lallana neither.

 

Good football from Chile, very Swansea like in their build up from the back, need more work rate from England, Rooney being isolated and pressing on his own.

Well they are good at keeping the ball, backing off and not putting on pressure on them isn't working, they'll just keep passing it around the back with ease without Rooney running at them, but he needs support.

 

and I didn't say he's a bad player, of course not, just don't think he's good enough or showed enough to impress, not like Townsend's debut introduction

 

he or Rodriguez won't be near a starting place at the WC, unless Townsend, Walcott, Welbeck etc aren't fit.
