November 27, 201312 yr I think it's a load of bollocks,no way there is match fixing. I watched the 8-8 draw between Burton Albion and Crawley Town and I thought both teams tried their hardest. Just a shame about all the own goals.

Just a shame about all the own goals. It's not necessarily result fixing; it can be almost any aspect, e.g. number of bookings. Allegedly Conference level.
November 28, 201312 yr Interesting. We have a football punters club down here and Nuneaton have had some strange results this season. We have now left them alone for a while. Too many late equalisers against shiyte opposition etc.
November 28, 201312 yr this was the best one ever http://int.soccerway.com/matches/2009/04/26/england/conference-national/grays-athletic-fc/forest-green-rovers-fc/649892/ Half Time/Full Time at 33/1 some of us did well from it on here
November 28, 201312 yr I don't know how the money stacks up with all this Due to high salaries premier league games are tough / impossible to fix however lower league games are more easy to arrange due to lower salaries of the players But thinking about it to fix 1 game you would need at least a handful of players on board, all of who would want a decent sum for it, call it £10,000 each so £50,000 in total. So the fixer needs to win £50k just to wipe his mouth so he is going to have to bet hundreds of thousands to make a decent return. With that in mind which daft bastards are taking the bets? Alarm bells are ringing if some fella is trying to bet huge sum on Southport v Chester surely? Then they are on about the first yellow card etc etc - anyone taking these bets on a conference game deserves to get fleeced. If its all Asian markets then more fool them for betting on what is effectively park football. I'm going to go outside and fix a game of heads and volleys with the kids to see if I can make my fortune.
November 28, 201312 yr Didn't Facey play for us when Allardyce was in charge?ooooooo where are you going with this? To be fair that was my first thought ha ha

Also, Tyrone Mears must be getting a knock, no pro can be that bad unintentionally.
November 28, 201312 yr Has Mr B Knight from Orpington in Kent had his collar felt yet? Give him a call http://www.bpcinteriors.com/

Hence why they fix the score (and usually unlikely ones at that) rather than just the result. Say if they fix it to be 4-2 or 5-3, you could get 50-1 on that and thus would only need to bet £1000 to make your money back. Spread it around a few bookies so that the large sums don't raise any red flags and you're golden
