  • Its an early start 6.25 from Horwich Parkway. Then 7.15 from Piccadilly. As for the rest of the itinerary , Its a bloody goodun. Just hope Dougie realises how much we SACRIFICE to follow OUR TEAM.

  • Look at the season as a whole. Not because of today, worse start in over hundred years, worst defeat in thirty odd years, no progress in terms of tactics and organization, defence shitter than ever (h

  • Millwall fan here.   Massive game now on Saturday, after tonight's results for our respective teams. Holloway started with 4 strikers tonight & is clearly mental, & I don't expect that to ch

London bridge for beers pal. (Tube from euston)

Then train/replacement bus service from there to Bermondsey for game.

If a young kid tries to pass him a mobile number it's not some kind of peado trap. It will be to try and arrange some sort of 'off' .

Reckon there'll be any special arrangements on the rail replacement buses with it being a matchday? Never had to catch one going to a match before

Waterloo to South Bermondsey for me on the number 1 bus - about 20 minutes tops

Saying that the bus replacement might take you straight to the away end

But fuck it

Fancy an all dayer now May book on early train bit of a wait till yeovil for next day out.

Or you could get the overground from Highbury & Islington to new Cross Gate (25 minutes) followed by a bit of walk. There is a pub outside the station as well

just seen that you say bit of a walk looks a fair distance on map?

no-one fancies a stroll down from surrey quays under the railway arches then?

About 10 / 15 minutes

About 10 / 15 minutes

In fairness I., that is at your speed, more like 20-25 mins for normal folk....

Know a few that did. :-)

About 10 / 15 minutes

It'll be quicker than that, when you're getting chased through the estate.

Hah! You're not wrong there...

That's valuable drinking time. Think I will take the 15 minute version & catch you up. Not that missing ko will be a tragedy, will it?

Berokwn bone in foot so slowed down to normal pace - not ideal for this particular saturday

Why would I want to go from Highbury and Islington when I live next to Waterloo Station?

Plus it is only 2 minutes walk from the number 1 bus stop to the ground

Fair point. As big a game as this is, it's two shite teams so will most likely be dire

Hang on... looking at google maps/TFL websites that was going to be my choice. Go to Surrey Quays then walk it. Bad idea for those of us not interested in fisticuffs?

Better than New Cross, I'd say.

NIce one. Won't have colours on or owt so I imagine we'll be fine

Thinking of just drinking round Euston beforehand, there's fuck all in Bermondsey and I'm not paying £5 a pint like some fucking tourist in London Bridge

What??

What??

I'm not sure what bit of that is confusing...

There are a couple of half decent pubs near Euston so I'm considering just drinking round there pre-match and just heading over Millwall way for kick off. This is because the alternative is London Bridge and it's a rip off

There you have it Garrp, you are being informed where to drink on your own manor, sweet Gov.
