Salford played really well in the first half then nearly threw it away. Good game today!

Squeaky bum for a few minutes in the second half, but we just about deserved that today. Widnes are no mugs and will win plenty of games this season

In all seriousness. I'm a RL layman but the Aussie teams just look bigger, harder, fitter, stronger and more skillful. Every dog has its day and we might win a test match or one of these stupid WCS or WCC matchups. But it does look like men Vs boys.

Good point, let's isolate ourselves and never play better teams. We should extend it into football, just let the top four clubs in Spain, Italy and Germany play each other (obviously not English teams who haven't won a carrot for years) to decide who's champion of Europe. Not playing better teams would enable us to stay mediocre but still be able to tell the rest of the world we are the best in the competitions we are to participate in.

I agree, giving Widnes the penalty from Salford's own kick off was a big turning point in the game.

I was quite confident that Wigan could win their game

 

Unfortunately it was exactly Men vs Boys

 

Far too many errors from Wigan. Brisbane did the basics right 

Wigan on Thursday will be the benchmark on how far Salford have improved this season. Win that game and i will start to believe we will finally be a top 8 team. I can't remember the last season where we had a positive points difference
