I'm a 33 year old grown up in a room on my own 9 hours flight from Old Trafford and still shouted FUCK OFF WIGAN when they walked on. I need to get a grip.

Can vouch for that. I was in the Old Wellington for most of the afternoon with a couple of old college buddies. There was a group of Catalan rugby league lads sat in the corner and every time a pretty young lady passed to go to the loo they let out this ear piercing cowboy like "Yahoo". As the day wore on and the beer went down any old munter got the treatment. Good lads, but my ears are still fuckin ringing.

A load of Catalan fans came in the Midland pub in Liverpool all dressed as scousers.

Absolutely loved it yesterday. What a spectacle.

 

Leeds were just too strong for Wigan in end.

 

Not normally one for football bashing,but the power,strength and comitment on show yesterday puts footballers to shame and makes me doubt the integrity of the sport completely.

 

Nice touch having the charlatans playing before kick off. Saw piemon before game in a Wigan top taking selfies outside the fergie stand! Wtf?!

Absolutely loved it yesterday. What a spectacle.

I've been to eight grand finals. Finally made it to the challenge cup final last year. I'd watch any game any time.

I hate Leeds and Wigan and wanted them both to lose but that was a belting game of rugby league and every man on the pitch yesterday could walk off with their heads held high. Superb, top quality stuff

You've mentioned it elsewhere and you're right - if he's 38 that would make Roger Milla about 16 when he was in the World Cup.

This!!!! Fantastic day out. Shame about the result but Leeds were just that bit too good. Scoreline reflected the small difference between the teams

 

I absolutely love League. The speed and everything gonzo said.

 

It was superb mixing with all the fans from the other clubs in the boozers. Got a load of stick off a Leyther lot but all good natured.

Definitely thought it had swung in Wigan's favour after the break. They looked well up for it and was fearing for Leeds. But fair fucks to them, tremendous spectacle. Great game to end the season.... and fitting for Peacock and Sinfield to end on a high.

Thought both teams looked fucked in the last 20 but Leeds had done just enough in the first half to win it.

 

Wigan only got going after a half time fucking from Shreks uglier brother but that ran out of steam after 15 minutes.

I wasn't vibing Wigans tactic of trying that cheeky kick through along the floor on the 5th/6th tackle. Bread and butter for Leeds as they just picked it up.

 

Also when it was so close at the end why didnt they just boot a drop a goal instead of trying to get a try?
