Ppi Thread Part 1,341

Have any of you cunts filled one of these forms in that the "lender" sends out?

My missus did and was refused a refund as she was "aware" PPI was being sold. Fair enough, she's thick as a plank but I can't be arsed arguing

Now though, she's been sent 2 letters by Lloyds saying she may be owed money from a loan & credit card.

This time, I'm tempted to tell he to just write "I CAN'T FUCKING REMEMBER ANYTHING ABOUT THE APPLICATION YOU SNOOTY BANK WANKERS" across the forms.

Can she do that? I suspect she was hoodwinked by the questions last time and I just can't be fucking arsed trying to second guess which question will fuck it up for her.

Anyone done this?

By the way, I've had a couple of credit cards but the twats have never written to me offering a handout. Is it my face?

Edit. I swear a lot.

Kind of related but I got a text the other day saying I'm due compensation for the delayed flight I had the other summer.

Is this going to be the next PPI??

Go for it by the way spiders...nothing lost nothing gained

I filled out the form with "I was told that I couldn't take the loan without taking the PPI due to the value of the loan" (which happened to be the truth - sleazy salesman at the bank).

Got just over 3k back.

No, the next one is asking if you've already had compo for something and they go back and say you should have had more.

Double dipping.

Funny enough HSBC wrote the other day offering me 2.5k,the original claim was rejected last year but they had reviewed it.

I rang up last year saying I may be due a refund, RBS said no, left it as it wasn't a big deal and then got a letter saying they wanna give me £800. I'd go for it defo.

i seem to remember you slating folk for being too thick for not knowing if they had to take this out or not.

Never claimed as I can never remember what products I've had

Will some company do that for me? If not iamout

I deal with a lot of ppi claims companies. Some are cunts, some aren't. Though they all do do their best for the client. The more they claim back, the more they get paid obviously.

If anyone wants a company to do it for them, give me a shout and I'll put you in touch.

Should be able to get a discount on the fee too probably .

Fire away

I've been sat staring at these forms for 2 hours now and I almost ate them about 40 minutes ago.

Nope, I slated people for claiming things that they shouldn't be entitled to.

I was entitled to it as I was genuinely mis-sold the PPI.

So no-one is going to do this for me then?

I'm about to open the whisky so these could be smeared in faeces by the sunrise.

done

The next PPI will be packaged bank accounts. There is no way adequate checks were done to ensure you were eligible to claim the benefits of gadget cover and travel cover and breakdown cover etc.

Some folk paying 15 quid a month. Will be huge. MMW

Tomski, we're going to Benidorm!

CCP sent me forms as Co-op denied selling it me, I've not even been in contact with them to claim. Thought it was bogus at first

Best day ever!

Moneysavingexpert emails go on about that.

I contemplated doing it for a 5 hour delay for a flight to Dubrovnik with Monarch

Had a rethink, we paid about £60 each for the flights

Shit happens sometimes, just accept it.

We got €400 each back from Monarch for a 7 hour delay, but refused on another as it was due to 'exceptional circumstances'. The plane broke down - which we didn't consider to be exceptional, but we got nowhere with that one.

Use an agency as they know what to fill out so you don't get tucked over

Then when they say we need to take £0.01 from your debit card refuse to give them the details until you have had your money

The bank pays you the money direct. The agency then chase you for your cut. Fuck them off as punishment for hounding every fucker with blanket calls!!

They will send nasty letters but its doubtful they will take you to court unless their commission is bigger than say £500

My mate got away with owing them £300, the way I see it it serves them right for the never ending calls
