All based on the self-employed getting paid weekly instead of monthly, won't earn any less and potentially being better off! Do you reckon I could be on a winner here?? I make about £50 to £60 per person a week and already had a good deal of interest. Going live this week so if you know anyone ................

Couple of suggestions, I could not understand what you actually did until I clicked on the services button, you should get this on the home page or a very clear link to it You say you are going to take over peoples leasing payments...are you sure you can do this ? Finally I think an example of typically how much someone can save by doing this and details of what you charge would help Please take these comments as constructive criticism, I manage a few websites and you have to dead clear on every page or people switch off, the number of people who just pop onto your home page then fuck off is incredible so you need all the basics on there especially if it is a new service.

To me Thorpeys doesn't sound right, to much of a nickname. Thorpes would sound more professional. Well to me anyway but I've no idea about your line of business and how it works.

Thorpe's van assistance or something to the name.. not sure if people would be overly fussed by weekly payments as all bills are monthly anyway.. however contractors are a pain in the arse for payment. Organising someones invoicing is a brilliant idea, as driving doesn't leave you much time to do this. think if you market yourself to the big companies (or more so their drivers) you'll do well.. if you have drivers on your books you could approach companies offering to match them up with drivers,

Spoken with the likes of Geopost who own Interlink and DPD and they like the look of it for their 3200 drivers! Only problem I have is I need a cash float of about £1800 per driver per month and am limited to £1.5m at moment. If it gets big then I need to go back to the City for more which shouldn't be a problem as it'll be proven by then.

I used credit cards to pay diesel and pay the balance monthly made things easier but with a central hub ypur buying power for cheaper insurance will be immense. I'd say have a chat with principal insurance who are a very cheap local company might be able to come up with a deal. The informal name is good if you can get big contractors on board. There is no body really who does this for small companies. ..
