Rembrandt Posted February 2, 2015 Posted February 2, 2015 I guess I'm just a cynical killjoy. But all these rumours do nothing for me. Cold facts, ma'am. Just the cold facts. Quote
Casino Posted February 2, 2015 Posted February 2, 2015 just read ings is out of contract in the summer surely that only happens to us, or maybe its a hazard of being a small club Quote
Anderson Posted February 2, 2015 Posted February 2, 2015 Prem quality. Not so sure about that. Might have been a bit of a stretch but they've both got decent goalscoring records up there, better than Leicester, Burnley, West Brom and other teams around the lower half Quote
Kill Cricket Posted February 2, 2015 Posted February 2, 2015 Prem quality. Not so sure about that.Prem quality isn't necessary, since we're in the Championship. Jutkiewitz isn't prem quality, clearly. He did ok. Quote

Thorpey Posted February 2, 2015 Posted February 2, 2015 Where has that Pogrebnyak shout come from? Le Fondre and him up top is Prem quality... I won't get my hopes up or anything but this might just turn out to be quite a tidy deadline day if we get Bannan, Pogrebnyak and a winger in(SWP?). Pogrebnyak - lazy lump at Reading on £80k a week. Doubt it somehow. Quote
Anderson Posted February 2, 2015 Posted February 2, 2015 am i understanding you reet you're saying le fondre and the big pole are better than owt west brom and burnley can field? Alright better was pushing it, but as a partnership it'd be comparable to the options they've got, and definitely better than Burnley if Ings goes today Quote
Anderson Posted February 2, 2015 Posted February 2, 2015 The wages threw me as well but the guy scores goals, certainly better than what we're working with at the minute Quote
RONNIE PHILLIPS Posted February 2, 2015 Posted February 2, 2015 Heard earlier that Ings has signed a pre contract agreement to join Moyes in Spain in the summer. Quote

Anderson Posted February 2, 2015 Posted February 2, 2015 Slavchev in from Lisbon Not a clue. Tall and looks like he can move a bit in the middle, helpful whilst Pratley is out Quote
Carlos Posted February 2, 2015 Author Posted February 2, 2015 I'm pretty sure that Lennon is mates with a Portuguese agent. There's no way we have scouted these guys. Quote
snowball Posted February 2, 2015 Posted February 2, 2015 Hope they can do a job unlike the job lot of Portuguese based players Blackburn brought in Quote
Carlos Posted February 2, 2015 Author Posted February 2, 2015 These are kids, they brought in Nuno Gomez! Quote
Guest Posted February 2, 2015 Posted February 2, 2015 (edited) I'm pretty sure that Lennon is mates with a Portuguese agent. There's no way we have scouted these guys. Played for Litex before in Bulgaria and U21s for Bulgaria so it isn't impossible that he was on Lennon or his scouting team's radar. He is 21. Edited February 2, 2015 by bwfcfan5 Quote
jturner Posted February 2, 2015 Posted February 2, 2015 Im glad we are signing a few foreigners rather than rejects from the likes of Leicester, Palace and Millwall which the previous manager opted for. There was no chance of the glory days returning with a team of Leicester and Palace rejects but you never know, Lennon might unearth a foreign gem or two. Quote
snowball Posted February 2, 2015 Posted February 2, 2015 These are kids, they brought in Nuno Gomez! didn't blackburn bring in a load of kids as well from portugal? Associated with Jerome Anderson IIRC Quote

Aye, you'll never do well with the likes of Ian Marshall and Simon Charlton. *cough* Quote
