Predictions For 2014-15

I think a far better start caused by a bit more stability in moving people in and out early doors, will result in a far more positive season.

The players who have will come in will gel us more as a team and we are saying bye bye to individuals with their own agendas.

Top 6 beckons. COYWM!

What is happening this season draws back memories 2000-01 season when we got the players in needed to escape the division while perhaps losing more flair players.

13th.

As it stands, we've lost Knight, Hutton, Mason & (especially) Juke from the team that finished 14th. Previously when the loan players have left, we've slumped, so probably another slow start.

On the up side, Dougie is bright enough to collect the points to keep us safe, & hopefully some of our own young players will break into the side. Slow progress but I don't expect to reach the play offs.

(if we make any more signings I reserve the right to up my prediction :) )

We're not going down

and we're not going up

We're Bolton Wanderers and we don't give a fuck

Bit contradicting innit.

Shirley it should be :

We might go up,

we might go down,

MUNICH BASTARDS......We're Bolton Wanderers and we don't give a fuck

mid table safety this term methinks

As it stands I reckon 10th. If we get strikers in then we will challenge for playoffs.

138 easy points

mid table mediocrity this term methinks

I concur.

It doesn't matter where we finish because we are all behind Super Dougie and his team no matter what.

I will be cheering and shouting from the rooftops if we finish top or bottom

Easy to say int close season!

With Juke, Mason and maybe a defender I say top six.

With better strikers, pushing play offs.

If not, 13-15th

Mid table mediocrity

That's the spirit!

Mason & juke top 6 imo

This and a steady right back and that's also assuming a fully fit Tierney comes back in and is consistent

3rd. If we're going up, we'll do it the hard way.

According to the BN he misses the start of the season

Probably around 8th

Can't see us having the firepower to get into the play offs

10th

More steady and solid than last season - but I agree short on firepower and even shorter on creativity. Just wish we could stumble upon some unknown striker from non league that ends up having a ridiculous goal fest of a season for us and moves on for millions a couple of years later!

  • 2 weeks later...

We'll have a pre season behind us this year which can only be a positive. I haven't got a clue where we'll finish.

We need a decent start obviously it's been 3 seasons on the spin we've started woefully and it just kills all hope momentum etc so that's vital - I don't know why but I'm starting to get the feeling the old Bolton is coming back few characters couple of terrace icons I can see us doing something decent you know it will be a 1-0 fest though
