Mrs has just asked if I can start later one day next month so she can attend a half day course in Wilmslow starting at 9. She said she was getting picked up at half 7 from Horwich.

Am I right in thinking she's fuck all chance of getting there on time leaving that late?

Maybe, if unlikely, if you went through Atherton and Leyth onto the M6/M56. Fucking no chance on the 61/60.

Me too. I either leave at 6.30 or at 8.45. Not worth bothering in between those times as it will take 2-3 times longer.

That's the same for most places in the country to some extent.

I leave Marple at 7. In my spot for 7:40ish.

Leave after 7:20...forget it.

Tonight City are on. And it's a dreaded Tuesday. So I'm going to do a few extra bits instead of sitting in stationary traffic. Then when I leave it'll be a breeze

That twatspanner Peter Kay fucked up the traffic for a month, every fucked following their sat nav for 7pm each night.

7:45pm and it's still chocka my way home. Can't be traffic for the council house surely

Can't comment on the Atherton route but I think she hasn't got a fucking prayer

That's a 7am job that, minimum!!

M6 has been a fucking nightmare

I get on M6 southbound at 7.45 at charlock Richard services and get to M56 at circa 9am -

Wilmslow would be another 30 minutes at that time and she still needs to get to the M6

Tell her to get a hot air balloon

Knock on effect, staying late no longer works. Early dart, job done.

It was ok in the end; just a blockage on Upper Brook St

Talked about getting the train last night, but apparently they are full with people cheesed off with the drive.

Next up we are letting the councils run the NHS locally.

She will be lucky to have passed the Trafford Centre by 9

And as I mentioned a while ago;  apparently getting public transport full of pissed off drivers was actually a "plan"!

This may work if the trains weren't fucked. Over Xmas it's absolute chaos, it's calmed down at the moment.

Carrot and stick without the carrot

Bullying cunts

Reopen the canal and get some commuter barges on. Serve brekky and chill out. Still be quicker than sitting on the motorway going no where fast

You may struggle getting past Radcliffe as it ends there, but yes.

still talking about reinstating the breach at little lever, was chatting to some canal society dudes recently, can't see it ever happening though, too expensive

I'd love to see it, but then it'd only go as far as Elton.

True. Get the elr going for commuters, could link up with that. Dunno how many folks from the Rossendale area you would want on public transport though...

Fucking none of them. Steam trains are too advanced for them.

Take over in 2016. Vote in 2017. Good luck with that.

Queueing virtually onto the Lancs to get down St Peters at 7pm! Absolutely fucked. Someone wants sacking.

he did a brilliant job last time he was involved at Townleys!
