I had to step into the road today to avoid a mum with a buggy. She was on the phone and was oblivious to my " 'scuse me ". Other than that Harrowby Street foot traffic moving freely at 3.45 and I was only a couple of minutes late for my appointment in the Canary Kings Arse.

I was bloody lucky then. Drove out of work at 5 to 5 and was amazed there were no queues. I was in manchester city centre in 30 mins.

I was thinking about driving to junction 6 this evening but will give that a miss

I work an area between bury and Rawtenstall and its like a god send for traffic absolutely nothing. Compared to my old area on M60 and M62 its a piece of piss

I set off at 6am and the A666, M60 is damn sight busier. Just waiting for Radcliffe road works to finish and that'll be my preferred route.

I have to say it's much improved in a morning this week on A666, M61, M60, M62. Less than an hour every day leaving just before 7.

I think people are just avoiding the area. Took me 30 mins this morning via the tip, which people are also avoiding due to traffic. Good time to get down there.
