Yep, but apparently they've discovered you can park for £2.50 these days and done the math.

Ah I see

Good rate that. Is it a private car park?

There are some temporary road works on my way in to work. It took me nearly 10 minutes yesterday to get to work.

Do I need to find an alternative route?

Yep, they have another slightly dearer one which is closing for development, getting harder to drive in when I can't park at work.

Awful this morning

If they hadn't have fucked the roads, started the Misguided Busway (finishing "late summer"; when is that?), commenced a 3 year project on the M60 and electrified the rail at the same time, there might have been some capacity once the Mancunian Way went down

took me 30 mins to get from chester road roundabout, onto regents road, and up to trinity way, it normally takes 5

contrast this morning, it took 2 mins, think everyone thought better of it after yesterday and came in a different way or on the train, or they're diverting traffic elsewhere, there was just no traffic about

Defo more cars at the Metrolink station today.

My drive in this morning was pretty regular excepting a busy spot near the Apollo

Possibly.

I had to swerve around the dog this morning adding about a second onto my commute.

In working away from home at the minute dog sitting at the parents bungalow.

So my commute is currently even shorter which is a bonus.

Each to their own but I can't imagine working from home too often is healthy.

In what way?

We're not sharing air with sick people like office dwellers do.

Mental health. I didn't imagine you'd agree, which is why I said each to their own.

Ah, mental health is another issue.

I'm with you on that one.

I'll honest my mental health is miles better than it was prior to working for myself.

Not having to deal with Mrs twattington-Smyth from Lostock and her like every day helps to be fair.

I'd love to go back to working in the toy shop but that wouldn't pay the bills.

Two and a half fucking hours from manny airport to home after a 24 hour journey from the U.S. Just what I needed twats!

Where so you live, Bristol?

God knows what was wrong with the traffic tonight; 31 minutes leaving Mcr at 5.18pm

My mental health is fine, I spent a good half hour off work downstairs today playing 'wall-i' with a sponge football (I'm renovating, downstairs, not the football) whilst saying "Here's one you'll like'' in a bumpkin voice, over and over again...

That is not mental, and I'm not being 100% crazy for anyones benefit but my own.

In some jobs, pretending to like/tolerate people I couldn't give a frig for all day and being false in at least half my encounters with folk used to do my head in, it can't be good for your mental health, that?

My mental health is fine,

course it is

They need to. It's just taken me 4 hours to get back from Newcastle. Fucking caravans.

Horrific traffic my way tonight

I don't think they've opened them for "us"

I've done it for about 4 years now, more so the last 2. I think your right it can be a lonely old place at times

As most of my colleagues also work from home though you tend to have a chinwag over the blower to keep your hand in with the office gossip

That and lobster tube is enough to keep you just about sane
