We know this already - the Senate report into 'enhanced interrogation techniques' in the aftermath of 9/11 concluded that not only didn't it work but that “multiple CIA detainees fabricated information, resulting in faulty intelligence.” It's a waste of time and in the words of John McCain (who knows a thing or two about being on the receiving end of that kind of treatment) torture “compromises that which most distinguishes us from our enemies”. Couldn't agree more. You could be on to something. Let's torture them by a more cunning method eh? Shower them in Western luxuries - ocean frontage plush apartment; Veuve Cliqout on tap; oiled up Hooters girls pandering to their every perceivable need. The fuckers won't be able to take too much of that and will be singing like larks after a couple of days. Alternatively, just execute the cunts. Quote

Perhaps more so because it's shot like a Hollywood Blockbuster - high production values, multiple camera angles, the works. Almost makes the whole horrible event seem detached from reality. But a mushroom cloud (or let's face it, multiple mushroom clouds which is what would be necessary) billowing up over Iraq and Syria would be far worse.
