We know this already - the Senate report into 'enhanced interrogation techniques' in the aftermath of 9/11 concluded that not only didn't it work but that “multiple CIA detainees fabricated information, resulting in faulty intelligence.”

 

It's a waste of time and in the words of John McCain (who knows a thing or two about being on the receiving end of that kind of treatment) torture “compromises that which most distinguishes us from our enemies”. Couldn't agree more.
