or, they have a good system/infastructure, and they only ever go for a Head Coach that fits the criteria. Means they never have to rip up and re-start.

maybe, but you still have to wonder why the managerial turnover is so high

I'm not a fan of what I'm about to say because it's used unnecessarily at times. But Oldham is a proper northern club. Good to see them back in the league. Chuffed for 'em.

The owners are Italian

They also own Udinese

There approach is typically Italian and firing coaches is a frequent occurrence.

Mate of mine is a Watford fan

He says its always their intention to have a manager for two or three seasons then change

They identify what type of manager they want during the current one's role then when it comes to change they know who their targets are

How many Elton John references are there to be had here:

Like a pinball Wizard whoever gets these managers in and out.

they aren't coming close to that at the moment, they're lucky if they get 12 months for whatever reason

That was The Who.

Yup Elton John was in Tommy and was paid by letting him keep the shoes

The album Tommy from which Pinball Wizard was on, was released in 1969

Elton John played piano on Tom Jones's "It's not unusual".

He's more famous for playing the organ,

Thats their intention

They own more than one club so maybe adopt that approach there

Found it odd with the chant don't sit down if Elton is around

Surely sitting down is the best option

You are underestimating Elton there, you don’t know what you would be sitting down on.

This is where it begins.

Was reading that the players aren't happy about it and may go on strike

Sunderland and Southend had players sent off at the weekend

Football league say their ban doesn't include the checkatrade cup matches

But they are ineligible to play. How does that work?

Be good for him that loan. Play every week, smash 20 goals and get his confidence back.

Someone in the far East put a lot of money on a throw in at a particular time?

Weird!

Not that it's completely his fault but linesmen are stealing a living they are fucking useless

Not that it's completely his fault but linesmen are stealing a living they are fucking useless

A lot of refs tell the linesman what they can and can't call for. Seems refs want to be the centre of attention

What’s the referee watching to just go with the liner’s call?

I can’t decide if this is worse than the Watford-Reading one from a few years ago or not.
