This film from the Manchester derby Charity shield accurately shows the popularity of the two clubs

Shows a few things, how good a player VVD is , how pivotal Henderson in the DM role is

Same with City and Fernamdinho last season

Plus players like Shaqiri just aren't good enough

Spurs are woeful

Listening of the radio; seem to have gone archetypal José; quite defensive and look to counter.

They appeared better and more consistent when more free flowing and attacking earlier in the season.

Recently, even when they've taken the lead, they've sat back and been punished.

Two man team.

Useless when they’re not playing together.

Said it months ago without them two spurs have a bang average team nobody can step up, some even thought they could challenge for the league

They dropped off even before Kane got injured though.

The same as at Chelsea; increasingly about winning with a negative style.

Just been reading fans' comments at half time- all saying the same thing: typical Mourinho, football become boring etc etc.

Correct plenty of games they looked to steam teams but then just go backs to the wall it’s mad so negative

Just don't get it.

Of course he's been successful over the years, but teams that have periods of repeated success generally have a more positive approach. Try to win games primarily by scoring goals, obviously having a decent defence too, but a positive mindset from the off.

They don’t even have a good defence.

I watch them and I don’t understand their gameplan, it’s messy, limp, one dimensional, flat.

AKA Mourinho football

It's not always been like that though, maybe players cant do or dont want to do what he asks anymore.

I used to love watching his teams. Total powerhouses, bullying teams all over the gaff. Letting the other team waste time and energy on the ball and twat them on the counter.  Always been great to watch. Seems to stop working after a while.

Hed be better off just being drafted in for the cups and let some other dude manage for the league :D

They’ve got the best centre forward in world football and he ends up coming so so deep for the ball, there then ends up only son in front of him, but son wants a high line for space to run into.

Play deep against them and they run out of ideas

When he first arrived & was doing things at Chelsea with Drogba up front in all honestly they were just a richer, version of Sam Allardyce's Bolton, with better PR.

Oddly enough I rate that team as the best in the Premiership era, they had everything.
