The technology is consistent, harsh at times but it is applied equitably, with software. Managers and fans were asking for consistency because linesmen were getting decisions wrong. The use of var on penalties, and the application of the sending off rules becomes subjective though. A couple of red cards last night were ridiculous. Give the penalty by all means but the rules are bollocks. Quote

Traf Posted February 3, 2021 Posted February 3, 2021 VAR is not fit for purpose. It was introduced to eliminate/over-rule clear and obvious errors. It wasn't introduced to referee games to the minutest degree that cannot be seen by the human eye. Quote
