Can I also say bore off to Everton. The least consequential club in premier league history. Who actually had a chance to do something interesting yesterday - and once more managed to be their ball achingly vanilla selves.

It says everything about them that in a season where there's a ludicrous number of clubs qualifying for European football, they still end up as also-rans
