boltonboris Posted Wednesday at 16:18 Posted Wednesday at 16:18 Zero sporting integrity from anybody but Boro.. I se Wrexham players have been in the press saying the playoffs should be replayed with them in it Quote

DirtySanchez Posted Wednesday at 17:02 Posted Wednesday at 17:02 Strange that the other matches they admitted to spying on were games they didn't win, as if to say it didn't matter in the end They were doing it to gain an advantage otherwise why do it? Why pick Oxford out to spy on and not say Hull or Wrexham? Unless the set up of other training grounds meant they couldn't Quote

But make not mention of the other 20+ games in their unbeaten run. They have not denied (afaik) spying on any other games. Quote

They just weren't The club has stated publicly they continued with the plan they had in place had they won The disciplinary proceedings were known about before kick-off and they carried on as if they'd reached the final as perparation for this exact scenario occurring Their perparation has been no different whatsoever https://www.gazettelive.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/middlesbrough-players-return-training-after-33967762 Quote

Perhaps they can do a Denmark 92 and win with no pressure as they weren't supposed to be there. Quote

Possibly, but I think the mental aspect is probably quite easy to deal with That's a different thing to the idea they were in post-season mode though Quote

But either they were cheating there too or he must have had some idea. And there's no way that no member of staff there had heard of the Leeds case under Bielsa. Ian Evatt was our manager. No need to spy on us, everyone knew our tactics, Quote
Didledee Posted Wednesday at 19:47 Posted Wednesday at 19:47 Great goal and well done on leaving 4 players up when defending a corner, sick of teams with everyone back thesedays. Quote

Though since the EFL brought the rule in about spying, they should have an appropriate punishment in place and not leave it to an independent panel otherwise teams will take the piss Red card for violent conduct equals three match ban, we know that If you get done for speeding, you know how many points you're getting Instead they've sold tickets to both sets of fans who have booked trains, hotels etc and neither set of fans know if they'll be playing on Saturday because rather than enforce their own rules, they've passed the buck It's an absolute shit show Quote
