He wouldn't have had any reason to. Len Ganley was an excellent referee, as O'Sullivan mentioned a couple of weeks ago in this interview about his record-breaking 147.

It's just a sport you don't understand. There's no shame in it. I don't understand watching cars goes round a track. I've tried, but I just don't get it. It's fine.

I just did not find it necessary  to dismiss your opinion as nonsense. 
 

Your example is flawed unless you arguing Man City are the best team ever.  You said Ronnie is best player ever ( I agree btw)
