March 13, 201511 yr Ability wise you can't claim he's one of the worst. (Although sometimes you'd be forgiven for thinking so.) The reason I, and I'm sure many others, class him as up there with our worst ever players is the fact that he was straight up detrimental to the team for the majority of the time he played for us. Plus the fact he was on an absolute wedge for the 5 years he was here and cost nearly £5m I think collectively for me he goes down as Top 10 in my Worst Bolton Players Ever list.

None of them had nearly the same negative impact as Knight. I agree they were also woeful but at least they had somewhat limited chances to fuck us over.
